Hi HC-Community....
At first, I would like to say that I'm very pleased with the amount of information which can bew found in this site...
Well, the questions are:
To polinize the flowers is the only way to get seed, right? But how many time after being polinized can we collect the seeds?
Is it better to keep a macho to polinize the females or to just clone our darlings?

I read everywhere that the different strains of MJ gives different highs... could somebidy explain me, how would a pure sative and a pure indica high be?
because I'm just not too sure which pot, ive been smoking...

indica usually has more of a down kinda buzz with a good possibility of some couch lock and sativa us ually gives more of an up kinda buzz that makes you wanna do somthin and gives u some energy with your buzz aka the trippy buzz

im pritty sure that is accurate but you might want a second opinion

as for your post b4 that i personally prefer seeds to clones b/c u can save seeds and with clones u can only get so many off one plant but with seeds you can get more seeds than u know what to do with so its all in your preferances

sorry i took so long to answer cuz i seen this post a while ago but i was waiting to see if anyone with a lil more knowledge would reply first cuz i would feel pretty bad if i gave some one bad advice and ruined there crop na mean?

You want to do both. You can only seed once, then the plant dies. You can try to regenerate it but it's not worth it.

What you want to do is start from seed. Clone that and from each cutting you can get around six more cuttings. Every sixth generation re-seed. Best with a father of equal or better traits. Now there is a technique of forcing a famale to produce a male flower. You use Gibberellic acid on a branch.

sorry but i disagree with this. mother plants can live for years and years to produce hundreds of clones given the right care. so there is really no reason to re-seed a plant.

the only time i would pollinate a female for seeds is if i wanted to take a break from growing that particular strain and wanted some seeds to grow it later down the road, or if i was selective breeding.

This is all not set in stone, or I'm stoned. Yeah both... What you can do and should do are two different things. I personally wouldn't go past six times off a clone of a clone. It's like making a copy of a copy. After a while the copy starts to get blurry. I'm not making this up. This genetics guy Steve Tuck was saying this. So being in a situation that me and a friend of mine has the same strain we started way back when. I took a good look to see if there were any differences. He does the clone from a clone thing. I force male flowers from the females to polinate. After trading a bud or two it hit me. The taste, stone, and smell was the same or very close. But on his buds all the tricombs have migrated under the leaves of the buds. There were little on the top. Mine however had the same coverage on top and under. Now it wasn't that he had less. The tri's were just "pushed" under the leaf. Mine had less under but better all around. It's not the same! Trust me, I thought the same thing of taking clones from clones all the time. But I saw the difference with my own eyes.

ever think about that you and your buddy would have to have the EXACT same setup ie lights, nutes, RH, temps...everything to compare your buds? u can grow 2 clones from the same exact plant in different enviormental factors and there would be differences in the overall quality/quantity in comparison of each plant.

im glad some meore experienced growers stopped by they gave much better info than mine after all im still a newb i've only been here for a lil over a month

you said that the female can live for many years? Say i cut one of the branches to make a clone, would another branch grow in its place and could i continue to make more clones as the branches regenerate?
