![]() | hey everyone, i was reading a lot on breeding as it is relatively new to me i was just wondering you can breed any 2 strains together right, like if you have a male of any strain you can breed it with a female of any strain rite? now i knw the whole ustable genetics thing and everything like that so i dont need a lecture about how its going to be unstable unless you have good genetics and things, i just wanted to know if you could breed a super silver haze with a lowryda, i want to do this to try and get the small bushy genetics from the lowryda and the potency genetics from the ssh, this would be my perfect strain, and i know its going to be alot of trial and error but is this possible to be done, like just get these 2 traits in one seed or is it that hard or impossible. thanks heaps peace

![]() | its possible after all that what cannabis was meant to do lol, breed seeds from what ever possible. the first generation will probably be tall and lanky but if you back cross the fastest flowring back to lowryder, then cross those f'2(that flower(i think???) you should be have an autoflowring plant with the stregnth of size of lowryder lol

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | messing with lowryder crosses can result in some weird, dwarf plants due to unstableness in genetics. im working with a lowryder x kushage. ![]() ![]() i wouldn't cross super silver haze and lowryder, ssh is awesome alone. lowryder crosses are pain imo, you're gunna have to pop a lot of beans to find a stable plant. id stick with photosensitive strains(respond to 12/12 lighting) over an autoflowering any day. just grow your straightup super silver haze, i even wish i had those genetics.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | that was a dwarf lowryder x kushage i recently grew. it may look cool, but the yield is crap. the smoke was heady tho. i grew that plant in a starter cup its whole life under a 400w hps on 18/6. the dry weight was like 1.5 grams. i'm poping more beans to find a stable plant that isnt autoflowering(one with kushage traits). this was mainly the result of an accident(male kushage polinated a lowryder).

![]() | you dont see them autoflower too often in an f1 hybrid. i'd say you send it in two directions an autoflowering version and a non afing version. but thats just my opinion. i prefer plants that dont autoflower aswell. mainly because im exclusively an outdoor grower meaning yield and potency are everything. but being outside also means i cant change my light cycles when i please so waiting for september for buds can be a pain. the way i see it. if you can improve on somthing so useful why not? maybe cross kushage with a taller pheno. you should start a thread as you've gotten my attention on this.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i got a little bit of log info on my LR cross in my newest GJ. i'd like to stablize it more, but i only adopted the polinated plant and have the seeds from it.(around 25 left) that pic was a female out 5 seeds. anther weird thing about these genetics are that they started showing sex(male or female) after 3 weeks from sprouting! i've grown regular lowryder, which does not do that. i suppose by poping more seeds at a time, i could be able to find a girl with very little lowryder influence that i can clone. hell, i'd just like a plant that few more than a joints worth i now have 2 sprouts of the strange plant growing as i type. i'll deff keep updates coming i hear ya GG, lowryder is awesome for outdoors being a fast finishing autoflower. i just wish these seeds weren't such a pain to get the good genetics ![]()
