I've notice that many people have questions about cloning so I've decided to post a Cloning How To Guide. Here we go. First off your gonna need some supplies. This is what I have. -cloning gel, I use Rootech and seems to work well -rockwool or other medium -humidity tent -flo's -razor Step 1 Take your mother plant and select a donor area from the bottom of the plant. Step 2 With your razor blade, cut the stem at a 45 degree angle. I tend to leave about 3-4 nodes on the clone after I cut it.

![]() | Step 3 Remove all of the little growth spots on the stem. Step 4 Shave away the outer layer of the stem. Its kind of like stripping away the outer skin. You should do this to the bottom 1/2" to 1". When you've done this your stem should look something like this.

This is supposed to help root growth. Squeeze out the remaining water. You don't want the rockwool to be soaking, you just want it to be damp. Step 6 Dip the end of the clone (the part you shaved) into the rooting hormone. Shown below

![]() | Step 9 Monitor you new babies closely for the next 7-14 days. Spray the cuttings once a day to keep them moist and to ensure they dont dry out before the roots have time to develop. Also remove the dome once a day to let fresh air at your cuttings. Check the medium, you want the medium to be moist but NOT SOAKING. Ideal temperature is about 75 degrees. Step 10 Once you see roots poking out of the underside and side of the rockwool (like in the pic) you are ready to transplant.
