I have six plants started, working on thier third set of leaves and starting to branch. they are all from standard blueberry, so I need to first sex them, then pick the best mother.

I was wondering if anyone had a good method as to when and where to take clones to sex and how to train a good mother plant (think small ~4 clones off her )

well i got to say i searched and found nothing on this topic. I am also in the same spot as you i have room for 3 mothers and need to choose out of 6 females so far. so please any mods have advise? I have read that a reveg could turn the plant hermie and i have no way of flowering clones without doing the same to the mother plants.

Me Too! Can I jump on this bus? I also have mother ?'s I have chosen 2 Momas & can use info on bringing them back as well as those questions voiced by Mistress Jersey & Beefernug01. If I find any good info in my searches I'll Let ya Know. my moms are the 2 best quality plants from our first indoor grow. They were raised in dirt thru flowering and we picked them down preety good. I feel we did leave enough leaves and growth for them to have a chance to come back.

Hey guys,

When I start a new strain from seed (usually 6-8 seeds) after about 4 weeks of veg I will take a clone from everyone, marking them so I know which plant they came from. After the seeds go to flower and sex shows, (I don’t presex.) I know which clones to keep and which to toss but always come out with at least one female clone growing, to become a mom plant, while the seed plants go ahead and flower.

After I know I have a female clone growing I top the clone to get additional growth tips. After a couple of weeks I will top again to produce 10-12 growth tips that will become the new clones for the next grow that will be ready for cuttings at the end of flower of the seed plants.
