![]() ![]() | Peat pots work fine when growing from seed, but dont try to clone in them or the expandable peat medium. They molded within a few days of being in the clone chamber. And my temp was in the mid-70s. Oh well, live and learn. BTW, this is a death sentance for my clones, right? Smokin

![]() | there is no question that peat pots work great for seeds, but that isn't the issue in this thread. the issue is how well they work for clones, which is not well. I have had the same experience, and I believe that both the pH and the water retention of expandable peat pots is not ideal for cloning. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | They work well enough for seeds but the clones need lil more moisture then they allow. I love the aerocloner I use but verm / perl works well too ![]() LB

![]() | Yeah.. I agree also. A clone is something you don't want to take a chance at screwing up. I just didn't want anyone to make a judgement about seeding in moss pods before trying it because well....you know.... I've always had the healthiest seedlings from 'em, but that's not to say that I recommend it. Thanks for clearing things up guys. ¥ Since were on the subject of cloning again, I raked up a pile of leaves the other day that had been out back for a few months. The leaves were fairly moist on the bottom of the pile. I found a clipping under there from my Oleander plant that had been there for months and it was still alive and green but I didn't notice any new roots from it? What does this have to do with MJ cloning? Not sure. Just an observance to ponder perhaps. If you have any comments on this BS let me hear 'em. THANX
