With the trouble I had recently with clones I decided to try a whole new system I put together. It is only in one days service but seems to be working really well.

It's a mixture of Ebb and Flow table and a seedling tray modified, some PVC for spacers, and a 85/15 perlite and vermiculite mix.

I found a seedling tray that fit perfect in to my Ebb and Flow tray, so I drilled 3/16" holes around the perimeter on the side about a 1/2' from the bottom. I also drilled about 18 holes in the bottom of the seedling tray for drainage.

I put 2- 1" pieces of PVC on the bottom of the Ebb and Flow tray to elevate the seedling tray so it would not get a full flood just about 3/4" when flooding. After it drains fine...this exchanges the air and solution often. The humidity dome although not needed still fits fine.

This process of using an ebb and flow type perlite cloner has worked out real well. Since it was more of an experiment I have pulled a clone about every other day or so after the 4th day...the weaker looking ones first and I have found that the stalks were nice and thick and 90% so far has had root or nubs.

All the remaining are rooted.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with them. I have no where for them to go and grow. If I lived in a part of the world that wasn't 111 degrees today I would stick them out in the woods or something just for giggles and shits....but they would just die if they saw me walking towards the car with them.....

Today I transplanted 4 of the clones from the Perlite E and F.

The pictures are from the worst to the best. I will probably stick with this for awhile. I like when you removed them from the Perlite if you just dip them in water they're ready for hydro or soil.
