How big of a flower room?
permalink

A little advice please..... I have started my final grow room (can't afford a bigger house) and I want to do it right. I drew up some nice plans and have a grip on things, but just want to maximize my light and space. My intentions were for a 4x4 mother / veg. chamber with a 400 Watt light and a 4x8 flower room with 2 600 watts feeding them. My research tells me 600 watt gives you the most lumens per watt. question is; When I learn to garden properly will a 4x4 room feed a 4x8 flower room??? I am using soil as my medium.

WnB---I'm growing a perpetual harvest and have a 4x4 flowering room, and more like a 4x8 vegging/cloning area. My vegging area is currently overkill for my area, so you're numbers sound pretty good to me and should work nicely IMO.

Happy Constructing

there is a scale to weigh...yes..600w are the most efficient...5000 kelvin ...but the prx of the replacement bulb has to be figured into the long term equation.
