![]() | Ok, I know it's been a little while but I had to earn some more money to dump into the project. I eliminated the 2 - 400w in the cool tube and instead, bought a second cool tube, installed both the 1000w in cool tubes and vented them using the existing A/C lines. I also attached the 2x4 table to one of the 4x8 tables and readjusted the positions of the 3 - 600w lamps for even coverage I sold the portable ac, and bought a 1.5 ton and a 4 ton ac condenser (got a GREAT deal on the pair) and a 2 ton evaporator core, some 10x18" ducting, a mating flange for my 2200cfm squirrel fan and 30 feet of 12 inch flex ducting... The 4 ton will be sold to help recoup some of my costs I hope... I will be mounting the central core and fan in the existing location of the portable AC but on the ceiling perpendicular to the room and run 2 lengths of 12" duct to opposite corners of the room to aid in air circulation (see diagram) ![]() I borrowed a concrete coring drill from work and cored a 3" hole in the concrete wall for the A/C line set, now all I have to do is find some time to finish the install and somehow locate an HVAC tech to charge the system. (I know the logistical nightmare involved in this one, all the plants and equipment need to be removed from the room temporarily, network and fiber optic cables run (falsely) and 2 server racks need to be obtained in order to make this work safely) After the system is ready I plan on reinstalling the panda on the rear walls (the ones with the exposed insulation) and build an airlock around the entrance door using panda and pvc pipe. Now what I need is for you guys to tear this apart and figure out what can be done to make this work, and work well, I have WAY to much time and money invested not to see any return, not to mention 4 people are counting on this for their medicine (my wife being one of them) Note: I couldn't find a mini-split A/C that came with a 42' plus lineset that wouldn't require an HVAC tech to charge it anyways so I went with this , more efficient system... furthermore, I use a Harvest Master grow room controller to control the entire system and it requires an analog A/C trigger which is not available in mini-split Last edited by sed8ed : 07-22-2008 at 01:03 AM. ![]() | Yeah, I charged the system myself with borrowed gear... my present problem seems to be plant spacing... what would you suggest for plants per sqf? they are still in 1 gallon pots unfortunately and I can re pot them however they are now just past their first week of flower and im not sure if it will make a difference... they are around 18-22 inches tall Can you think of any other changes that could make this room more efficient? right now im killing a tank of co2 in about 5 days but I think thats just because they are hungry. Would adding an additional 400w hps over the 2x4 side of the 10x4 be productive? the plants on that side are around 3 feet tall (ex mothers) and are reaching for the light.

![]() ![]() | more efficient for u should be keeping the temps about 28C constantly to have your co2 work perfectly. and i would also recommend u to change the soil to hydro if u want to see your co2 at real work thats the only way. key to using co2 is right temp and right humidity. and air tight sealed room might need aiir cooled reflectors. u can cheack out daltron's bio bucket thats a great way to start
