![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | when i built my cab i used 1" strips of wood wherever there wasnt a wall to create kind of a shallow basin. then i caulked the seams, painted the shit out of it and finally glued down panda plastic to the bottom and about 4" up the "walls" since i grew in soil some water leakage was bound to happen, and when i got done the bottom of my box was a mess! but not a single drop made it out. easy as hell to clean up. definately well worth the investment of mainly time and about 2 bucks. i love that setup of yours, did you make it so the back is just open, or do the drawer fronts pull off to open it up?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks guys, I've got a hole other room going in my garage, but I've kinda put that project on hold. Momma (My Wife, that doesn't smoke) wants me to build a Cab in the house, she said it would make here feel better about my hobby. So soon I'll be working on a larger cab for a flowering cab. Indman, I don't have trays as of now, I've been watering them in the bath tub and letting them drain out in there, but your right I've been wanting to put something in to protect the wood. kawgomoo, the back is thick black plastic that is velcroed to the dresser, I have a couple of small light leaks right now. I'll be working all the little bugs out as I have the time.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | im a light leak proffesional you can make a channel so instead of velcroing the plastic use strips of wood to push into the channel locking the plastic into place and it wont leak light. pretty easy to do... all you need is strips of wood and some screws, nails or glue.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Smoken, love your dresser! I need to make one similar for moms and clones. Just a fyi I've had bad luck with bananas touching the plants and causing nastiness on the leaves as the banana ages. So I would get those out of the pots and on the floor ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Have those bananas sprouted yet. You may want to put those in seperate cont as they will turn into jungle like trees attracting tarantulas.. I would be concerned about that fruit attracting small flys or other winged creatures taking up residence in your nice cabinet.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Bananas emit ethalyene ( sp?) gas that is a natural ripening agent. This is believed to encourage plants to be female. From the test I've seen on this site, it works. Peace, EMj Oh So you beat me to it!!
