Ok, here is the fruits of my labour over the past couple months. Its not fully complete as of yet but its near done. Im calling it my mean green machine.

Sorry I did not make a construction journal, but I figure the pics might be enjoyed and spur inspiration for other peeps cabinets.
The Cabinet is made from 5/8 ply and 2x4's. Sitting on HD castors and primed with flat white paint. I added expanding foam to try to completely seal any cracks and added soft rubber weather stripping on the doors.

Equipment installed right now:

-A 1200btu ac unit exhaust vented outdoors.
-1000w eye hortilux bulb in a silverstar enclosed shade
-rs6 can fan hooked up to the light vented straight into my cold basement. (kinda nice the heating doesnt kick on so often in the basement now)
-1200gph xstream pump pushing 6 aero spinners
-1/4hp aquarium chillers keeping my res at a nice 64*F
-CAP CO2 monitor/controller
-CAP environmental control center

-Need still to install co2 bottle and solenoid.
-Cutting a hole in the top section holding the chiller,bottle,and res to suction of fan, keep the hot air out of that side.

Should be good to grow.

Moving some old mothers into this box.

Added a Canfilter 50 with a CanFan RS6 HO to the rig. Set it up so that everytime the humidity gets over 50 it kicks on. It doesnt work well for bringing down the humidity since it isn't vented outside but it mixes up the air enough in the cabinet that the AC/Dehumidifier works better. It turns on about every hour or two and stays on for 15 min or so; rough estimate. The CO2 still hasnt been fully hooked up. Tomorrow night I think. But that CAP environmental controller seems worth its money so far.

seems like you have alot of room to work with, but why did you make it short like that? you gonna scrog it?

I only have 1 light. The bigger the plant is the more of the plant doesnt get any light. I like the top colas, and I find plants that are bushier produce more. No need to scrog it as they fill out most of the cab. I do believe I could add one more tube down the middle to maximize the space. Though I am taking it slow. I got a lot to learn and baby steps are best.
I already grow more than I can smoke.

Decided to wrap the res up in some insulation. Not really sure how much its going to help but im trying to keep the Green Machine, well Green.

Added insulation around the A/C exhaust. As anyone who has one of these knows they get warm.

Of course I did this a while back but forgot to mention it. I moved the RS6 can fan so that it would suck air from the side containing the chiller and res. I did this because the chiller made that spot really hot with its exhaust heat. I cut a vent in the lower side which the chiller faced so it could suck in cool fresh air. The idea worked well, when combined with the insulation around the res.
