![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning, A 4" inline duct "booster" fan would be a great item for my passive intake snorkle that will go into the flower cab but, not with an attached (of any size) carbon filter. I was going to buy two of these 4 inch inlines to be installed in both the passive snorkles that run from a window to flower cab & under-desk-grow area. A larger floor mounted blower (from an forced air heater unit) will exhaust the entire room into my living space through existing ductwork during the winter. But, to move air through a carbon filter requires more pressure than the little 4 inch inline can push and that little 4 inch filter you are looking at probably will not last one flower session of keeping the aroma of your flowering cab to a minimum if at all. The extra expense of buying a new filter or restocking the carbon with new carbon will add to the overall expense of your grow yearly. Things to think about while designing Have a Great day don

I don't want to go buy it if it wont fit in my container that I have lol. I mean could probably get a bigger container to mod up but I still want to know how big these things actually are.

Those plug n play 4'' duct fans are horrible. They move just 30 cfm, wobble like crazy...vibrate way too much, and generally do nothing other than take up space. You truly are better off purchasing a desk fan and modding it to your needs.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning, wtf is a plug 'n' play fan??? Those 4 inch In-Line Duct "booster" fans are 4" in diameter and about 12" long maybe and they are used to push air through longer duct runs. I believe they are meant to assist a larger fan moving air down a longer run of ducting. Not meant to run stand alone although if all your Intake was passive, I don't see why this little unit wouldn't assist that better. My idea of getting two of these to aid the passive Intake to my flower cab & under desk grow (mothers/taller clones) area that will be exhausted using thermostatically controlled blowers into the room that is than exhausted through a floor mounted blower set over the existing ductwork. If all you had was a passive setup 80 cfm would be a big improvement in my eyes, wouldn't it?? Good luck & have a Great day don
