11 month photo update!!!
permalink

special greetings to Lou Cypher and others, who helped me get started last Dec 15th! Hard to believe its been 11 months now. hard to believe I am as stoned as I am
anywho......here is a photo update of where things are at the moment...it's always changing.
Photo One:
is of my cloning bench, with six clones struggling for life, and two larger buckets on the end. Overhead lites are regular hanging reflectors with a 26W flo bulb, output equivalent of 100W. I keep them about 1 ft over the plants as i want them to grow roots, not leaves.
Photo Two:
in the first bucket is a WW that is in stage two. It has sprouted roots and has been transplanted into its final container. I use colored pipe cleaners for strain identification: White = White Widow, Red = AK47, Green = Hymalian Gold. Don't have anything for blue yet, but do have some seeds marked as "SS" and don't know what they are. Anyone?
in the second bucket is my AK47 'mother'. Lets see how long she lives and how many kids she will have The white buckets are from wally-world, and drain into plastic 'drawers' you can get there as well. I empty them as needed, and in the summer it is a great addition to my out side garden. The plugs are 1/2" o/d screw-ins with clear drain tubing.
Photo Three:
my water/nuterant storage area. Yes those are Margareta mixer bottles. the pour spout makes measuring nutes easy. I do lug in my water right now but plans are on the table for future improvements in that area. The coffee container has epson salt in it, which i add to the gal jugs the day before i water. just a pinch each!
Photo four:
more stuff.

Photo Five:
now to the good stuff: here are three WW's and one HG with due dates of 12-3, (2)12-5, 12-30. I keep 3 records on the front of each bucket with a piece of duct-tape. 1-Name of plant, 2-date in: 10-3, 3-date out 12-3. the plant in the bucket in the grow room needs some duct tape on the front of it. The mother plant still has the same tape she started with. you can see the coffee can sitting in the perlite container. also look for the 2X4 screening i use to spread out the plant as much as possible as it grows. I am using two 400w HPS grow bulbs I got from HTG i think. they each cover an area 2X4' ft, so I have 2X8' ft of growing area. I try to have a plant come due once every week or so. as in .....
photo six:
is a WW, date in: 10-30, date out: 12-30.
photo seven:
my meditation chair, you have to wear a hat to keep the light out of your eyes, quite bright! The perlite container and two plants waiting for me to have the energy, along with the time, to recycle them. The perlite will go into another 55-gal container and dry out good. I only use perlite, not mixed with anything else except the starter container.
anyone need help with pic 8?

this brings us up to date, and for the results:

Last two photo's are of SOME of the results that anyone can do, some QUART jars of pure, dried AK bud and pure dried WW bud, the small pint jar in front is some prime leaf trimmings that will be packed into reg cigarette rolls.
any questions?

Everything looks nice in there natu, and when I see full jars I know things are going well.

Keep it green my friend.

Good morning,

And Great job congrats on your harvest ..
Eleven months ahhhhhh I remember (not too long ago) in my distant past (haha a year ago or so) having to wait all year as if I were an outdoor grower to get one harvest and than not getting as much as one would think having grown as a "Natural" light gardener, inside under whatever lights and outside under the natural light of our wonderful yellow/orange orb in the sky.
One harvest per year and never had enough that actually lasted til the following harvest.
Today, all that has changed after investing many $$$ into a three station one-room grow op that now although still being put together serves me five harvests in a year..
I've read (recently) a thread where a member commented "one good outdoor grow will yeild him more than 5 sessions indoors" I agree but, five almost perpetual throughout the year of 3 to 6 clones thats a lot of medicine. Variety "IS" a very nice thing..
As the evolutions of the grow room take place i'm sure the yeilds will become greater.

Have a Wonderful day natu and again congrats on your harvest, now is the time to sit, relax, reflect on what you've accomplished and enjoy that what you've reaped

a few clarifications are in order. first hi Lou, and thanks for visiting everyone!
now, underst00d420 it has been 11 months (on the 15) since i started growing, not harvesting. I have it set up to harvest a plant or two every couple of weeks, and try to have a different strain each harvest. as far as harvest goes Jgreenleaf, don't know exactly but i would say maybe average of qt & half, or 3 ozs per plant. your right camper donand big bud man, it is better to smoke your own.
I have finally caught up with supply and demand, and will keep a constant harvest for a while (6 months or so), then take everything down and rebuild it with more perminate materials.

question for you all: those ozone generators, do they really work in reducing the oder of growing plants?

and what does SS stand for in seeds? (on the packet)

anywho, it has been awhile since feet have touched ground, hey, has anyone ever smoked themselves 'sober'? just wondering.
later
