It is much simpler to build a box or what ever with the design for the bulb/s then add the bulb. Hanging a bulb from the center of a room looks goofie. I was trying to kill two birds with one stone. Most people can figure out the box and figure the bulb goes in the box. Most of the time I hope. Will------thimk------slower------next---- time. note compaq flors are very expensive for what you get, and require lots of them do to the output 17 watts per and the light is bounced off each surface making them even less. Plus they must be replaced often. Look at old post and you can see why. Last edited by Sanclem; 10-29-2001 at 02:45 PM..

Compact floros work fine for side lighting, I would not recomend using these for your whole lighting area due to the fact that you can get great 3'-4' tubed floros for a bit more expensive; but are much better. About 4 of these lights put out the same as a 1 3' tubed floro... lates

The information sheet was two fold. Size of a grow room or space, If the space is large enough you can use light that support growing pot. When you standard lighting hps, mh or even florsents. The size does mater. If you use the cost per watt the compaq lights are very expensive and provide little to provide you with lumens per buck per day . You never see compaq lights in real world because they cost so much, and are not effective for working lighting ( like working under them) The size of the rooms are a real life size. You can pack in cheap 4ft 40 watt florsents if the space is 49 wide. Think more pot, mo bud, mo light . There are full size florsent bulbs in 18,24,36,48,72,96 48 are the cheapest for a grow space and cost a wopping $2 or .2 grams of good pot. Its not for the lighting its for construction as it a total package of growing drugs.

What exactly is the Kotex box for Samclem? Just curious.... C.C.

Grow rooms sizes, grow box, grow space, its a joke, what people call them. And using a Kotex shiping box is bigger than most. The light thing is trillions of lights are installed that work. But pot growers do it different.
