![]() | you got to lot of light in there - i think you would be very happy with that amount of light - i might suggest an aircooled hood to keep thinks cool - and mabey a glass shild on the relector - good luck - peace

This is an idea that I come up with to make a very low cost stealth box. I use a 400 watt hps The space is 22 X 24. The main Idea is air flow in a confined space. The Box closed is 5' That is where the HPS reflecter is bolted. The HPS is at least 3' from the plants. I have 2 window fans both halfway inside and outside of the box. I used the original fan boxes to hide the lights. There are slits in the bottom to allow air. I've been using now in my garage for a month. Temperatures in garage are from 40 at night and 60 during the day. With the box closed tightly and only one fan on slow, the temperatures range from 65 at night to 75 during the day.

I have 6 - 2 gal trash cans from the dollar store. Something I picked up from reading discussions. So the get up only holds 6 plants. However, I promise they love all that light.

The box is a wardrobe box from Uhaul. Very Study. I bolted the bar that comes with the box with the reflector I rigged. I have no problem with heat transfere. Very well contained. Got lucky on the refletor. Fits perfectly. I have a thermometer hanging 18 inches from the bulb and the temperature is between 65 and 75.

![]() | thanks for the input everyone i just cut a piece of plywood to fit at the top.and i'll prolly use a combination of white cardboard and blankets for the door. as for the ventialtion i think i'm just gunna vent out the top for now and if the smell gets bad then i might cut a hole in the floor.
