![]() | hey guys well im a typical 400watt hps in the closet grower but a friend of mine who wanted to start up a grow in a house he was sharing with people who would appreciate it cant use his cupboard so we have developed the ultimate in stealth grow rooms. his bedroom is in the back corner of a double storey house so we cut away a section of carpet in his closet and cut a man hole then began digging, we dug a hole 2mx2mx3m long and bulit a floor and walls and from under the house you cant see the room because the dirt is up to to his bedroom floor. so wat we have ended up with is like a basement under his bedroom that is only visable and accessible thorugh his bedroom closet under the carpet. 400w hps later and we have the ultimate in stealth. cool huh ill post some pix and soon as i can! and if anyone tries this stay away from the foundations of the house!! and i know ventilation is a problem but leaving the man hole open at night when he is locked away provides enough oxygen for the day and it is under the ground so heat is not an issue.

Several years ago I decided to go underground. It was a lot of work digging that hole, for sure. Then it rained and the hole flooded. It never did dry out. Live and learn. Hopefully this won't happen to yours, but to anyone thinking of digging their own grow-basement, I'd advise keeping in mind, it could happen.

![]() | With all the work you have done so far, you can eliminate your flood problem . What kind of work do you usually do. I might be able to help you if you want. That is alot of work to just trash the idea. | ||

![]() | yeah some of the dirt was used to pack against the walls on the outside so you cant see the room at all from under the house and the rest was dumped either in the remaining room between the floor and ground or taken out the hole in buckets. just waiting on some seeds for his new grow and then we will start a journal hopefully! ahh by the way flooding is not really an issue because of the position the hole is in, dry as a bone in the biggest storms lets just hope there isnt any underground springs! ![]()
