Where do you live....(how hot/cold does it get?) Sheet metal would be lighter and longer lasting, but is harder to handle. Is it going to be in your yard & is the shed going to be built just for growing? mr g ![]()

![]() | man that is a decent size room. You have lots of light for that bad boy right? ( ) You would need a 1000 watter or two for that size room. Wood would prob. make a better choice for you exterior. Sheet metal might contribute to a heat problem in the room. Insulation...I'm not sure. Will you be growing in winter? If so, does it get very cold? If no, you may not need insulation at all. Keep growin' the herb! cy ![]()

Hey-M.D,,,Hemp Girl.. I live in Adelaide-- Austrailia,And weve just gonr through the longest hottest heat wave on record!.. I have a wooden enclosure 4 my grow, inside a large tin shed (no insulaion, a fan sucking in & 1 out with a circulation fan going all the time)and the temps inside the room got a max of 53degs celsius (i think thats around 115?).. I had no choice but to lay dow my clones & PEOPLE they love it,(but it may be the srain is just aclimatised?).. I was so worried, a1000w in that heat but heaps of water and air =no worries, luck to yas!!!!!!!!!!! ozi-grower

The more you insulate the more controlled you environment!!! The more controll you have over your enviroment the better!!! Make sure fresh air or /co2 is in the eq if its hot temps should stay constant!!!! under 80 unless you have CO-2 enrichment then 90 is too much!!! Sealed rooms are the rage!!!!! air minipulation (AC recirc ) and 85 degrees is the best!! 11

![]() | I am wondering if they make/sell small outdoor sheds with a fan in the roof. Isn't that where you would want your exhaust fan to be located?... heat rises? Or has anyone cut a hole and installed a fan on the roof? Then maybe an oscillating fan on the floor inside? Links invited. (I think that's allowed, as long as it pertains to cultivation. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I am pretty new here and still learning the rules.)

No i dont think i have seen any prefab sheds that have fans already installed on the roof but some do come with a spining thing (i dont know what its called) on the roof that could easily be replaced with a fan. However if you bought one of these you would have to insulate it yourself because they arent made for growing..... And yes the oscillating fan is a necesity for the inside of your grow room, but i would not put it on the floor because this takes up valuable grow space, try to find one that mounts on a wall.
