Need some ventilation advice...
permalink

I'm starting up my first grow soon, have my supplies but I'm waiting until I figure out how big of a deal the ventilation will become.

here's the basic setup I'm gonna be using

I'll be using a closet *fairly large one, but not too big. not like a walk in or anything* in an adjacent room, 400 awtt HPS lamp.

the problem is, despite all I've read I can't find enough info telling me what is proper ventilation.

let alone how to set *up* proper ventilation.

If it involves actually cutting through the walls/closet door I think my dad would have something to say about that ( He's fine with the grow, however, don't get the wrong idea I"m not hiding it) but I can't see any other way around it.

so, if someone with some advice on how to set up ventilation ina sealed closet could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

If the closet is large enough , you could put up a partition up to hold a exhaust fan. The apartment's closet i grew in had double doors that opened from the middle. I cut the closet in half by,cuting the rod, the shelf, put up a wall (just a peice of chipboard),used duct tape and mylar to block light leaks .cut a whole in that wall for a fan, then vented it out from the side i had my clothes on , right out the window.
