![]() | hi Just put up my new 1000wHPS hortolux super sun system in my closet.it is hanging from the closet rod and the shelf above has a dbl flourescent light with one cool and one warm bulb in it. I plan to clone on the top shelf and grow /flower on the bottom shelf. I realize while i am in the vegetative state the upper shelf poses no problem..but i need suggestions as to how i can keep the upper shelf light from bleeding onto the flowering HPS plants when that time comes...Im not real handy and my husbasnd is even worse..LOL..we are tired of paying 50 bucks an eighth around here for the good stuff and want to grow high quality MJ. Thanks

![]() | Easy...get some duct tape and seal any cracks you can see light coming through. Get a black curtain that admits no light and some velcro tape and make a blackout curtain. Check for light leaks on the bottom. One way to do it cy ![]()

Depending on the configuration and size of your closet, you may be able to ventilate your grow space from one source. The reason ventilation is so important is heat. Too much heat will stifle root growth, and possibly kill your clones. Be extremely careful with that 1000 watt-er. They pull about 9 amps, so be aware what circuit the outlet you are using for the light is on. They also generate a lot of heat. Safety first Boo
