First off.....ease up on the caps bro...kinda like shoutin' in somebody's face, ya know

Second...it sounds like you have plenty of room to work with, so it shouldn't be any problem to do what you want.

Third....READ. Read all the old posts in this forum..this might start giving you some ideas. Do some research, evry one has different requirements.

As far as your space....you are gonna have to divide that space up to have separate germ/veg and flowering space. That should be easy...just build a barrier to cut your space in half...with a door in it for access to the back part. Which means you will need more lights. Your 400 watt is really not big enough for 24 or 25 sq. ft. You will have to put some thought into air circulation and ventilation.

Well...there are a few ideas....do some reading and come on back and we will figure out a nice setup

You got that many females out of 30 germed? Not a bad ratio

For a 400 watt hps....up to about 12 sq. ft. is ok...16 would be stretching it....need a 600 for that.

i didnt know if i would get anymore help, ive postponed the project a day or two pending any online friends, after further investigations i found yes that 2000 lumes per sq ft is the min ill make the flowering room 4x4 and nexttime i wont germ as may seeds.i guess theyre all fem i hate to tell you how many more i have. so 2500 lum(which is more disireable) x 16sq ft is 40,000 .400watt puts out 45K? so i should ahve a little extra. thanks for the follow up......you rock.

Mornin' chica....

I think you might have read some outdated info.....because the absolute minimum light you need is 2000-3000 lumnes/s.f. With light that weak..you will be disappointed in the outcome. Try to get it up into the 5000-7000 lumen/s.f. range.

Also...figure it this way....you have 16 s.f. and 45000 lumens....45000/16 = 2812 lumens per s.f. Double or triple your lumens and you will be set. Or...reduce your space size.

SO you have 25 female plants?? Wow...and here I was think'n I was good

You plan to grow all 25? or are you going to downsize? If your gonna grow all of them, more light is a must

Interesting.....

i thought 50% fem rate would have been great, and i cant kill one of them(my heart/stomach feels funny if i think of it). maybe your thinking i should kill off a few for the greater good of the rest, concidering my light defiecencey problem. i bought the studs and a framed door this morn but im still brainstormin.andim trying to think of someone w/ a digital camera.the girls are starting to show multiple white hairs on different levels of branches smaller leaves on down them are starting to flower. this time i think is critical,12/12 for 19days 13 days since first sight of flower. boy i really went about this the wrong way.
