![]() | Well, you asked for it (in a kind, helpful tone):
Well, that's all I have, wish you all the luck!

![]() | hows it goin...i did have a set up underground...ive got a 10ft square shed on a concrete block...i cut a hole in the concrete in one corner (2ftx2ft)and dug out all the soil to form 5ft x 5ft x 8ftlong cavern under the shed(i braced and struted the roof as i went...had two pieces of 3 in round plastic pipe with pc fans in side, leading to the surface...sprayed the walls with sprayon concrete(got it ina can from the hardware store)and painted it white..set up 2 1000watt duel spectrom lights from the roof and grew 18 plants in a S.O.G set up...fitted a handle to the square of concrete that i cut out...and rolled carpet over the top...in the cave...it was a cosy 85degs F..and 75%humidity...also later put C02 injection....but if anyone who may try this...never dig it alone..and have a fair few railway sleepers(wooden) that you have already cut to size for roof supports..and dont dig the hole to deep...and have plans already made...and research you soil type...wont work in a sandy soil.. | ||

![]() | Wow, man. Great info on the soil temp ranges! You hit my area dead on, low 70s year round, due to water table/aquifer cooling. However, I think the security issues alone involved in a buried site would be too big. Suppose somebody sees you walking out to the yard, and climbing into the ground?? Also, on the lighter side, I had this mental image of LeBouf and Carter coming up from under the guard dog house on the opening of every 'Hogans Heroes' episode...anyone else get that one? Mrs. ~Q~ says his name was Lebeau, she is right. If I had my way, his name would translate as The Beef. LOLOLOLOL!!!! Sorry, that one killed me! If that one isn't obscure enough, here's another: If he WAS named LeBouf, he'd be that cow in boots in the Val Kilmer comdey classic 'Top Secret'!! HAWHAW HAW HAW... Dear Diary, today, we learned NOT to post to newsgroups after a quiet evening of 'meditation'. Hehehehe... <falls off chair> ~Q~

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | . Thanks for the visual. Now I have to get the grin off my face. ![]() As far as building underground....AG hit it on the head. It will take much more planning and preparation than you have done so far. You are adding a lot of "ifs" to the scenario when considering digging. Anything above you has to be supported, or it'll fall in and kill you and/or the ladies. Moving that kind of volume of soil is a pain in the whole body. Why the need for the bunker grow? Or is it simple curiosity? Smiles, BD ![]()
