permalink

hey guys, im back

got my duct fan FINALLY, 180 cfm for a 10sq. ft room
400W hortilux

my last grow was ended by high heat, 105F+

the temps have been lowered to 90F directly under the light now with the duct fan on while the light is

if i were to pull out the carpet would it lower the temps even farther?

It may help but I would pull it anyway.

If you don't it will only get moldy over time and that will end a grow too!!

Besides, if you are going to seriously grow on the carpet, it would be ruined anyway, pull it and you will have far less troubles in the long run. I'd even advise to buy a cheapo remnant of floor tile (roll type), and put it down after you pull the carpet. Get a white color for light relfection. Roll the sides up the walls about 6 inches and you created a water dam of sorts too!

Pull the carpet in any case....mold will surely set into it if left in place.
