I'm going to convert my extra bathroom in to a mini grow room; I want to grow 6 clones in the bath tub, or in a plastic container that suspends on cement bricks above the tub. I will mylar the walls, and the back of the shower curtain and hang a 400w MH above the 6 plants, I will use an exhaust fan above the light to suck the heat out of the room and blow it under the house, when I flower the plants I will switch to the 400w HPS bulb, now that you have a visual... I have some questions..

1. How far apart should I space the clones?

2. How big of a pot should I put them in?

3. How big should I let them get before I bud them for the most efficiency?

4. Should I use soil or some king of Hydro system?

Just a few questions to get me started... Thanks for reading -John

depends on big you want to grow them.

for soil, depends how big you want to grow them, atleast 2-3 gallon min.

3. How big should I let them get before I bud them for the most efficiency?

let them veg, but expect them to double tripple in height during flower.

4. Should I use soil or some king of Hydro system?

soil tends to be a little more forgiving then hydro, so its often used more by
beginners.


btw - 400 watt light is not going to be enough from the sounds of it.

honestly i think the best advice i can give u is... just read grow's thats the best info you can get.

Thanks for the advice, I will probably spend hours reading in this forum on my next day off, as of right now I haven't been to sleep in 24 hours, so I'm a little slow..
