Hey,

Im planing on having a growroom in my basement. I plan on using 2 400w son-agro and 1 400w metal halide all on a sun twist thingy. Hydro, keeping them small by tieing branches
and topping once. Max 40 plants under lights. Constant Har.strat. I am planning on buying a ONA Odor Stop too kill scent and add new airflow. I live in a city so co2 should be ok with the fresh air. Would an air purifier help in the growroom too, or maby a humidifier. Ill have a room air cond. in there also. Hows the setup?

Sure..try an air purifier in your room...couldn't hurt.
IMO...purifiers work best if they are near your exhaust vent from your space.

Humidifier? Do you have a humidity problem? Might be a little low with an a/c in there. You want it stay bewteen 40% & 60%.

How goes it...I would go with two 1000 watt HPS..u said u were getting 3 400 watt lights..that adds up to $900- $1000..and giving u 1200 watts...two 1000 watters gives ya 2000 watts for about 800 dollars. I dont worry bout to much with the air as long as u dont have a heat problem, no humidity problems, air exaust and fresh air coming in all is good. Good lick..

hey cajunyank, thanks for the reply. I was thinking of a humidifier to get the humidity to a greenhouse level, and temp too. Right now Im just waiting on $, but soon enough Ill have my lady Blueberries up and growing! Still undecided
of my other strain to grow.

Do you live in Cali? Cause` I used to live there in Los Angeles, then the high desert. I wanted the 400W because I read somewhere that you would get more production (lumens or somethin, I guess)from 2 400 rather than one 1000. I am getting a third because I want one to be a metal halide. Your suggestion has made me rethink though....hmmm 1200w @
$1000, or 2000w @ $800. Pretty easy choice.

it seems the Dutch Growers use only 400W bulbs?
