![]() | I recently aquired room in a garage to construct a space, but my main question is, it's really, really cold in there, and I'm mostly concerned about the floor temperature as it is concrete slab. Mostly a constant 10 degrees. Will this overly effect nutrient temps as I run hydro system with a lower reservoir. Thanks Frodo.

most definitely would affect it. That is too cold for anything to be sitting on it directly. Have your reservoir off the floor on something and you will prob need a heater. Or...those heat mats for plants might work....lot of energy to try and heat a cold concrete slab tho. For hydro...cold water will shock the roots...and water hotter than 32 will damage the roots. Water in the nutrient tank needs to be at least 20-32 C. cy ![]()

![]() | Just what I wanted to know and what a great idea, I've actually got some old horse float rubber lining that will do the trick, as the tubs are only two feet long. Thanks Cajunyank. Frodo.
