Whats Up,

I set up my flowering room and it looks good and runs very smooth. I have been giving it a 'dry run' for about two weeks so I can make sure everything runs smooth, make sure that anything that needs changing gets changed, etc.

I have two digital thermometers, one close to one side of the room and one close to the other. Both are indoor / outdoor thermometers and they are both giving me readings of 80 degrees F at the bottom of the room and 90 about a foot from the lamp.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix this. I am in an apartment so extravegant exhaust systems just wont cut it you know what i mean. Window in the room is also facing the complex parking lot (of course i am on the ground level) so black 6 inch pvc pipe out the window wont help either. hehehe.

I do have a 8 inch fan running in the room a few feet from the lamp (aimed at lamp) to at least keep it cool somewhat. The door of the closet is open about 1 foot on both sides so air can get in
any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Skunbud

I have the digital therm, also, and the outdoor probe I keep directly under the bulb. It usually reads in the upper 90s, but move it six inches in any direction and the temp drops 10 degrees.
What Im trying to say is its important to rotate the plants if your light is going to be closer to the canopy.
It may also be a wise idea to get some more fans, one oscillating fan on the plants at least.
Good luck

Judging from the price, you must be getting professional grade equipment. Is that how they were represented to you?
