Hey all! I am looking for some help. This will be my first attempt at a micro grow. I have some pictures of a computer case I am going to be using. It is Height is 20" , Width is 7", Length is about 18". I am planning on using CFLs with simple computer fans for intake and a vent. The question I have right now is what tool do I use to get all these extra pieces of metal outta this thing? I just need something to cut them correct? What would it be? I got a garage full of tools. Thanks for any replies.

![]() ![]() ![]() | An angle grinder or dremel will work for cutting out the extra metal. Need to use metal cut off wheels, of course. Or you could use a reciprocating saw with a metal cutting blade (those have more teeth than wood cutting blades). You have all these tools, yet you don't know which one to use for something as simple as that? Something tells me those aren't your tools. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | No, they are not my tools! But someday (hopefully a long time from now) they will be mine. I have never done much metal working or learned anything about it so that could answer the question on why I have no idea what tool to use. What attachment for the dremel should I be looking for?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey guys. I am trying to start work on this case but I am having problems with my dremel. I can not for the life of me figure out how to attach these cutting wheels. I searched the net but found nothing. I want to get to work on this thing and not wait until later when I can ask someone for help. ----edit ahhh HAH! I knew that little screw driver had to be used for something! I figured out how to get the cutting wheels on there. I'll post some pictures later when it is all finished. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well today I had my heart set on chopping this old computer case up and I am finally getting to work. I figured out the dremel (thank God for the internet). Tonight I hope to have pictures up of this thing hollowed out. I have a question though, would it be wise of me to leave in the area where the powersupply was put? I am only planning on needing 2 80mm fans in this thing, and maybe a computer supply would take up to much space. Is there a way to wire computer fans to run into a normal socket? Would I be able to run 2 computer fans into one plug? That would be the shit. Thanks for any replies on this subject.
