Hi All. In your experience, with these dimensions, what wattage would you use? I've got a tiny bit more than a 3ft footprint. 36"x16"x70" this is a metal two-door cabinet with a lock, and I'd like to set it up primarly as a flower box. With proper ventilation, can I sneak in a 400w light? I'd like to invest in a 400w digital ballast. Perhaps I should just find a new grow cabinet? thanks for any feedback! With enough ventilation, a 400 watt light would be nice in that cab. You'll def need a cooltube peace | ||

The recommended minimum light level is 50W per square foot.. so with your 3ft area.. a 250 would be fine.. and generate more than enough heat to deal with. But.. if you can get it ventilated well enough.. the 400 would kickass in that area. You'd have to cooltube it also.. because you may have height issues unless you flower small. ![]() PFR
