I found some lime to get my ph in check. Its called Organic Tradition and its pelletized
Garden Lime deprived from Dolomite Lime. Can I use this to raise my ph?
I was gonna crush it up into a powder and add 1 tablespoon to one gallon of water and
water my plant with it for awhile, will this stabilize my ph and also does this sound like
enough or too much lime? On the packet it claims to achieve an ph of 6.5.

Thanks-

1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Bagseeds
2. How old are your plants? approx. 3 weeks
3. How tall are your plants? 8" tall
4. What size containers are they planted in? I Liter soda bottles
5. What is your soil mix? 3 part perlite, 1 part vermiculite
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use? Daily, distilled water
7. What is the pH of your water? 5.7 current, was 6.2
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? GH Flora/Micro/Boom, full strength veg, 1 tbsp./gal epsom salt began today
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? No
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 162w CFLs
11. How close are your lights to the plants? 2"
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? approx 2.5 square feet
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 82.4 F, 54% H
14. What is the pH of the soil? Unknown. Is it safe to just stick my ph meter in the soil?
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? No
16. How much experience do you have growing? First grow

One of my two plants has begun to show brown spots on the lowest (oldest) leaves, which has now progressed over and killed off the entire lower set on one of my plants. The other plant seems mostly normal, but is droopy and is getting taco-shaped and slightly twisted leaves. I suspect Mg deficincy after reading the plant abuse guide. Should the epsom salt recommended fix it up well enough or are there any other remedies? Also, my perlite seems to be growing algae all over (it's turning it and some of my roots green). Is this particularly harmful, and how can it be remedied?

Thanks

Noticed a small amount of PM on my girls so i lolipopped them and bought some Safers 3 in 1 with the hopes that this will be enough.

Question is, should I use this spray when the lights are off? Or when the lights are on?

I worry that i might burn my plants if done with lights on.

Thanks.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, and I read through the 'rated seedbank' sections, but I didn't know what people thought about Sannie's? I'm still a ways off from growing how i want to again but compiling a nice selection of genetics can't hurt.

I really like the sound/look of 'jackhammer'... Jack Hammer f2 seeds (http://www.sanniesshop.com/jack-hammer-f2.html)

...And they offer some interesting freebies Sanniesshop freebees (http://www.sanniesshop.com/freebees-en.html)

I remember reading, some time back, about rifts between individuals...one named sannie. That could be a completely separate issue though.

Basically I'm just looking for any sort of information, biased, non-biased, or just any insight into the company or strains others have grown.

Thanks!

back in the day i worked for a place that moved a lot of air around. one of the things they used was basically a fan very similar to a vortex...but attached to that was a long plastic bag with holes in it. so you could distribute air over fairly long distances. basically like a big ol condom with holes in it on the end of a fan. if i remember right (and it is questionable) they were used in chicken coops but for some reason (incompetence perhaps) i cannot find them on google.

i am building a 30x20 room with an ac duct down the middle. thinking if i could put one of these on each side of that duct blowing opposite directions i would have pretty good air distribution.

is anyone familiar with these? more importantly does anyone know where to find them?

The girls started puttin on lots of hairs n i wanted to give em a boost so went out bought some big blooms fert 15 30 15 and gave it to them before they started flowering.
At the same time i gave em all a good dose of triple super phosphate 0 45 0 and it really kicked them into second gear for flowering:D its really go stuff. within a couple days i noticed a serious growth of flowers. so my question is how often should i give em another dose of the phosphate? every 2 weeks or so just like any other fert or more often? i dont wanna over do it and what will happen if i do?

At the moment I am in my 3rd week of flowering G13 Northern Lights.

Three weeks ago I had to move my grow area due to space issues coupled with a bad timer. Since the move I have watched all of the growth at the bottom of the two plants dry up and fall off, and when I say dry up I mean CRISPY! At first the growth shows signs of dropping/wilting and by the next day the growth is fried! This is moving up the plants and has now effected the first bud site!

My PPM is 1015:

120mg Bloom
80mg Micro
40mg Gro
65mg CalMag+

My pH stays steady at 5.5-5.8

I just don't know what I am looking at here?? The growth isn't showing signs of any deficiency that I am aware of so I am asking the experts to please chime in on this. I DON'T want to lose this grow!

Thanks for any help that is urgently needed!

That's an interesting exchange that goes on... I have yet to do peyote, and I wanna do it when I'm visiting a reservation, I don't think my people do peyote, they seem to be very conservative and adapting to much of the white man's ways. *a very intresting exchange of energies indeed...i could seein doing it with the newborn if i was still hardcore in the Lakota Way.Powerful, strong,Walking the Way... So many relms and levels to explore..Wayz that all either lead to Healing or Protecting the Healer as you learn to Heal yourself..learnin from the Shaman of couse..Many a Spirit call in the Cerimonies...thats why i was so layin down the Peyote/Medicine should be Respected and Honored...He iz a Bein of His own:lol: .but not now with the babies, when im not surround by the ole clan..the Sweats 2-4 times a week...Walkin in Cerimony...
