Garden Lime???

I found some lime to get my ph in check. Its called Organic Tradition and its pelletized
Garden Lime deprived from Dolomite Lime. Can I use this to raise my ph?
I was gonna crush it up into a powder and add 1 tablespoon to one gallon of water and
water my plant with it for awhile, will this stabilize my ph and also does this sound like
enough or too much lime? On the packet it claims to achieve an ph of 6.5.

Thanks-

The girls started puttin on lots of hairs n i wanted to give em a boost so went out bought some big blooms fert 15 30 15 and gave it to them before they started flowering.
At the same time i gave em all a good dose of triple super phosphate 0 45 0 and it really kicked them into second gear for flowering:D its really go stuff. within a couple days i noticed a serious growth of flowers. so my question is how often should i give em another dose of the phosphate? every 2 weeks or so just like any other fert or more often? i dont wanna over do it and what will happen if i do?

I will be try out some auto's here pretty soon and I would like to know if Botanicare Pure Blend
Grow and Bloom are stand alone nutes? I have Fox Farm 3 pack of GB, BB and TB and I would like
to know if I can use Pure Blend Grow with GB and Pure Blend Bloom with TB and also BB with both?
I currently purchased a 3 pack Botanicare kit with Pure Blend Grow and Bloom also liquid Karma. I got the
kit because liquid Karma is about 27 bucks and the kit was 17 dollars for all three. I'm just a little
hesitant thinking its a little too much for the plants and might burn them. Both Pro Grow and Bloom
improve plants metabolic process to produce quality budz, which sounds awesome to me. Along with
the GB, BB and TB plus the Pro duo I will add the liquid Karma, Botanicare sweet and also Cal-Mag to
give my girls all mirco and marco elements plus help prevent most micro, macro deficiencies. So with all this
in mind will the Pure Blend duo be too much to add with the Fox Farm trio? It might also help if I didn't use
the full strength recommend dose of the Pro duo and go on a very light side so I won't burn them.
So if I have this correct the combine N-P-K for veggy with be 11.1-5.6-8.5 and 5.6-12.1-9.5 for bloom
stage, numbers are all combined with N-P-K on bottles all nutes and supplements added together. I don't
know if that is the right way to go about, if I'm wrong hope someone can help me out. Of course I prolly
won't use the Pro duo at full strength so number are just something to go on.

I have been using coconut coir for a while now. I heard that normal medium fertz are not good with coir.

most major manufacturers are now offering Coir-Based ferts along side the others.

My grow is fine and the yields seem fine, the ph is fine.. it may drift a bit high, but i keep it in range with 5.5 - 6.0 PH-ed R/O watering...

what i want to know is am i missing out on better results because i use the GH FloraNova system (drain to waist)?

should i switch to Canna or NC17 Coco-Soil fertz by Botanicare?

How about Monkey Juice? According to AN, i'm killing my plants by not using it, although they seem ok...

Thanks for any input... :)

I use 50/50 Perlite(plain), Coir (sunleaves block)
some clay on the top to hold it together....
R/O water

I feel like I have to tell you guys this stuff because many of you are unaware of the fact that Bushmaster is not what it sounds like and you may want to rethink using it, especially if you are producing Medical Marijuana for others....
The guys selling Bush Master are calling it "Sea Kelp" on the ingredients label. That sounds all organic and safe but it's not! The label should read PACLOBUTRAZOL, because that's what it is. Paclobutrazol is a plant growth regulator that has been on the market for years under the trade name Bonzai. Paclobutrazol diminishes plant growth through inhibition of gibberellin. However, Paclobutrazol is not intended to be used on food products. All those PGRs have been pulled from labeling for food products. The reason that Paclobutrazol and other Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) are used for ornamentals only and not on Food Crops is because they are carcinogenic. THAT'S RIGHT THEY CAUSE CANCER! This product being sold all over California and the country is being used on weed and then sold as Medicine. The problem is it is carcinogenic. I hope when the word gets out people will stop using it but I know some will not. It needs pulled from the market place. After all if the type of medicine produced in this new fledgling industry is more dangerous than the problems it's recommended for we start sounding like the other pharmaceutical industries in this country, put profits ahead of everything including human life! my :2cents:

Hi everyone, How are you??? So. I been reading about seaweed. And how good it is for plant food.. I need to know how fresh the seaweed needs to be??? I have some that's been outside on some wood for about a month just rinsing off with rain... I don't know much about using seaweed. But I been reading a little about it and how to use it. I now know how to rinse the salts off.. I know the salts are off now for sure because I rinsed it a way I read on the net.. I also read that I can mix it with my manure tea and I can also put my molasses in with that to... Also all I can find is the seaweed that looks like grass. Is that kind good to use??

I was using organic 1st in the season, then I stopped with using my manure tea because I didn't think it had enough nutes in it so I decided to use chems but I only used chems about 4 times... But now that I read your post I want to switch back to organic for the last 5 weeks. Please let me know if I can do that...

Here are some recipes I found in another forum......

When germinating I use a 1/20th solution of pure kelp in water, this keeps my germination 5 up there, bout 90/95% i'd say. Thats between paper towels of course.

For sprouts i use the same solution, to keep the soil moist.

For veg I use a kelp solution for foliar feed, this help keep nasties away, gives an abundance of minerals, it also helps to unlock the nutrients and sugars stored in the leaves, thus aiding photosynthesis greatly. And for a soil drench I make a kelp and tealeaf tea, 1 tblsp used tea, for nitrogen and manganese, kelp for calcuim, magnesium and a whole host of other wonders, in a gallon of water, this process consistently make excellent root balls quite quickly. It makes the leaves lovely and green too.

For flowering I use 1 teacup kelp, and 1/2 teacup of milk in a drench solution, you need to keep the milk content down for smells. But the advantages of the milk are abundant when in flowering, the calcium content makes for bit healthy buds, with good structure. I water the girls with this right up to 2 weeks before harvest, then i just do plain water (24hrs old room temp) reducing the quantity gradually over the last flower period, so firm up the buds and gleen a little more THC as the plants consume all their reserves, my leaves often dry up, but never wilt.

This is all supplenental to A bit of biobiz for the balance of the nutrients in the plant.

The kelp solution for the foliar feed is really simple, I make it in 1L concentrates. 1L Bucket half filled with beach kelp, washed so the salt is cleaned away, fill with water and leave for up to 3 months with a lid, stirring once per week. at the end you have a slimy thick solution which is more or less 100% unadulterated kelp. 1L makes 20L of foliar feed.

Thanks POT ;}

A few days later, many of my large fan leaves are yellowing and dying! Is there anything I can do to save her? Maybe I used to much. This is with soil. Thanks.

I got some voodoo juice today it was like 102 us dollars out the door. on the lable it says like 10 ml to every liter of water every 3 weeks. WTF? I have a 20 gal res. So if my math is correct thats 1 gallon = 3.78 liters. so 20 gallons x 3.78 = 75.6 liters. I planned on doing water changes every week, that would be pretty expensive, is this product not for me ???
75.6 x 10 ml=756 ml. this cant be right. What am i doing wrong.

MG test. Interest?

Hi folks. For those of you that dont know me, I am me. Good to meet cha.

for the longest time, we have all been saying MG sucks. Every day. And yet newbs continue to run it. Does anyone else have an interest in a side by side?

since all the plagiarized grow faqs floating around say to use MG tomato food and bloom nutes, i was thinking of running this , against itself(with bene. Microbes), and a control using PBP grow, grotek vitamax ca/mg, dark energy, ThriveAlive, and Tiger Bloom. Basically doing my best to make the MG plant look and taste nice, and to establish a somewhat concrete feeding sched. to give to the newbs if it works, and pics to show how shitty it is if it doesnt.

Honestly, I dont see how it would turn out that bad, esp with a root colony, to break down the crude nutes. The pure MG plant may be a little messed tho.

the plants used will be kush clones taken when the moms are ready. Under 300w of hps. Im not gonna really mess with the ph besides adjusting. PPM will be posted as well.

anyone have any ideas? Im not stoned so not thinkin too scientifically.
