How to correct the lacking of Nitrogen????

This is my first soilless/soil grow. I'm on day 10 of 12/12. I also feed a 2 part solution(Dutch Master A&B along with a bunch of goodies) I fed last night. And today, my leaves on a few of my plants, are showing signs of lacking of Nitrogen(though they were already showing signs of being hungry, prior). The plants that are showing these signs, are 4 of the one's that I let the soil get dry to the point that the leaves were drooping. So what I'm wondering is, how long does it take for the plants to show signs that their not lacking anything, A few days,or what? Should I wait a couple of days, or should I feed it some more, but just the nutrient highest in Nitrogen? Thanks!

I pulled 2 leaves ans the next 2 are doin it also. I am a little concerned about the yellowin of those leaves too. I have not fed these plants in the days on pics. They are in FFOF soil.I use only rain water that I check with my meter. Its 6.8 Ph They are showin a little wilt, but thats not any worry to me. The transplant did that. I think it did anyway:) The pic in the solo cup is before transplant. I removed those 2 leaves. No other plants are showin any of this " sick

Hello all, i currently am growing an autoflower strain and am in the final days of flowering to harvest. This literally happend overnight, i can't pinpoint the problem. The leaves of the buds are curling upwards as if the buds are looking like they want to dry right on the plant. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be or any input?
thanks

Question abt Veg state vs Flowering state...

I have a question...
First I'd like to share something I learned very recently...Cannabis plants still put off some smell even while in vegetative state. I had always assumed(I know never a good policy) that the strong smell only emerged once the plants entered Flowering stage however I started keeping my grow area sealed off for light reasons and was surprised at how much smell my plants are already producing(while in vegetative state-as in not even sexed yet). The smell, though it is not very strong, was still a surprise to me so I wanted to share my recent realization with other newbies.:newbie::2cents:
On to my question...
I am in process of sexing my plants, and my plan is to determine which are female(obviously) but then I want to put them back into Vegetative state because I'm not ready to start flowering(still waiting on that carbon filter).
If I do this will buds still start to form and grow even once I put the girls back into veg state?
Or will the plant resort back to regular growth and not develop buds?
Additionally will the smell increase once the plants are sexed or should it remain about the same until I enter flowering stage?
Any and all help is appreciated!:hello:

A month away from harvest, everything has gone well so far. Checked the ladies last night and noticed a shiny effect on one. Wiped it off and saw wispy net-like fibers and what looked like pepper flakes. When rubbed fingers together, the freaking pepper started to crawl! WTF is infesting my babies? Nine plants, under 1kw HPS, in soil, in five gallon buckets, using FF nutes and (new this grow) molasses. HELP!

Hello Nursery Folk.

My journal readers have identified a possible aquatic pest in my DWC reservoir. I was hoping a member here could identify it and propose a cure.

Here are the particulars. Photos attached.

Hydro Growers:
1. Are you growing from seed or clones?* Seed*.
2. How old are your plants? *About three months. About 60 days veg plus 25 days flower.*
3. How tall are your plants? *About 40 inches*.
4. What type of hydro system are you using? *DWC bubbler. Homemade*.
5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? *GH Flora Nova (Bloom) and Kool Bloom.*
6. What is the Ph of your nutrient solution? *About 5. Taken with litmus paper.*
7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water? *Unknown.*
8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution? *Unknown*.
9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? *About 75 degrees*.
10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? *Unknown.*
11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check? *Fluctuating as I compensate with pH down*.
12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? *No.*
13. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") *430 watt HPS.*
14. How close are your lights to the plants? *About 10 inches*.
15. What size is your grow space in square feet? *Eight sq feet.*
16. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? *About 75 degrees.*
17. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? *Occassional fly or gnat*.
18. How much experience do you have growing? *Intermediate skill. About 8 years.*

Finally, make sure to describe your problem in as much detail as possible! *A photo search of the root system of six flowering females revealed two bugs and two possible larvae.*

my organic soil. Its a wierd thing. Ive bug bombed my veg room then sprayed them with neem oil. Induced flowering and they have been flowering on the third week and its starting again. WTF? Looks like fine mist spraying gently out of my fox farm soil. Then I look really really close and its small bugs with wings jumping around.I sprayed the top soil with neem oil since I cant spray my flowering ladies. Hope this works. What can be done about these pests? Ive heard of nematodes to cure this but which site to order from? I ve read lots of reviews on angry costumers who ordered these and lady bugs and stuff and never got them or they didnt work properly. Any one order these before and were happy with thier order? THANK YOU.

blueberry refusing to ripen

Hello-

I have 2 DJ Shorts Blueberries refusing to ripen. Currently on day 98:

The buds are huge enough. The stretch has definitely stopped, this was right on estimated schedule (day 50 or so). Then they fattened up just as predicted. They are big enough now, I am not looking to increase them. The pistils started rusting, the trichs when from clear to mostly milky. And thats it.

There are a couple new foxtails here and there. A few of the buds are still blueing/purpling, but some of the purple is fading as the fan leaves are giving up their energy and turning yellow.

Amber trichs are still nearly impossible to find. Most buds are near 100% milky but some have still 20% clear.

I did do some extensive reading on icmag, and it looks like some of the "blue" line can indeed go 90 days. However lots of other people have reported more like 60 days for blueberry.

I have doublechecked for light leaks, the room is pitch black with the lamp off. Temps are min of 55 at night and 83 max in the daytime. They are getting 11 hours of light now.

Here are the main areas where I am totally confused and not sure what to do:

1) If I have an environmental problem, I am unable to find it now. There WERE some very bright green LEDs in the room but those did not affect last crop and are now taped over. Some people seem to claim that green light is no problem. I would really like to learn from this experience, if there is a lesson to learn. I feel frustrated that I am making a mistake but no idea what it is. What can I learn here (other than patience)? Am I just messing with really weird "advanced" genetics?

2) I am not impatient, and if I had reason to believe that it was "normal" for these to go to 100 or 110 days I would be fine with that, but I am wondering if I am wasting time at this point. Will the strain ever ripen? Have I somehow "blown" this crop, and should cut my losses? Will I kick myself for harvesting "100% milky" when another week might have brought out a few ambers? If the pistils were totally rust, I would be more inclined to take this risk, but there are still several that are white and fresh looking. In fact, one of the largest colas, while it has stopped growing, is barely rusting at all.

What would you do if your plants were suddenly on "pause"? Tweak the environment more? Kick them out and start a new batch? Wait endlessly? Blame bunk seeds?

Thanks for any thoughts,

Here's a more or less representational pic from a few weeks ago, but they have not significantly changed:

Watering about every 3-4 days with spring water

7. What is the pH of your water?
near 7

8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio?
Was using FF regime at half strength (ec about 1.0) with every other watering

9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?
no

10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH,
fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights")
600w sodium (syvania hortilux i think... some sort of "son-agro" type of enhanced bulb)

11. How close are your lights to the plants?
tips are about 6" from air-cooled lens, temp there is comfortable

The Problem: The bud looks excellent, smells better, tastes pretty good, and doesn't get you high?! Every single indicator tells one that it should be the dank, but it takes two bowls to get a decent buzz? Everything in this grow has gone smooth smooth smooth, this was unexpected one has no idea what could possibly have went wrong?

The Question: 1) Is it possible it will get better as it cures more? (In previous grows, early sample buds resulted in a good taste of what was to come, why not now?) 2) If not, what is the cause of this so that it does not get repeated in the future?

Relevant Information:
2nd generation clones of Master Kush
Ph=6.0
400w HPS EYE Hortilux Bulb
55% humidity
73 degrees Fahrenheit
Nutrients = General Hydroponics Floraseries, Koolbloom, Florakleen, Hygrozyme, H2O2
14minutes feeding every 3 hours
12 day Flush b4 harvest
48 hours dark b4 harvest
Harvest day 68
65%milky 25%amber 10% clear (best guess my batteries almost dead)
Been airdrying for one week now
***These are all averages, well maintained with little variation. No signs of plant stress. No signs of nutrient deficiencies, pest, mold, and/or any other stress related symptoms. Absolutely everything went to perfection, fantastic end result but with only a very very mild high. The buds are covered in trichomes, as are the bud leaves even partially the fan leaves. Everything points to this being good bud but the high blows? If anyone could point out what the mistake was that would be awesome. Let me know if there is any information left out that you need to assess I will post back with the answer if one has it. Effing depressing this is.

I am growing three clones from harborside in Oakland. Purple Kush, Headband, and Blue Dream. I have my card, so everything is kosher. They are doing great except that two of the older, lower leaves on the purple kush seem to keep growing or this white almost powder like stuff. It keeps forming on the leaves. I can kinda wipe it off but it just comes back. Any idea what it is?

Can anyone tell me why my leaves are looking this way? and seem to have some kind of burn, but it's not nute burn. I'm in the 5th day of 12/12. Started showing signs about 1 1/2 week ago on lower leaves, so I flushed with plain water and Hygrozyme, and it spread now to other leaves. I use Sunshine Organic Mix(Soilless) the pH run off is always at 6.0, though when I feed, I feed at a pH of 6.3 . I use Dutch Master Flower Gold A&B, Dutch Master Max, Dutch Master Silica, Humboldt County's Own Snow Storm Ultra, GH Floralicious Plus, GH Liquid KoolBloom, Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy, and Fulvic Acid. As far as nute burn, I really haven't had a problem. The Pineapple Express had nute burn at it's early seedling/veg stage but since then has been corrected. As I said, their in day 5 of 12/12, and probably a total of 53-55 days from seed, and still, I haven't gone over 750 PPM's. This is my first time in soil(soilless), instead of DWC. Never saw any problems like this with my hydro. Any help would be appreciated.
