I had a heater running, but not hard enough. Cranking it up worked and now they are finished. This bud is at 100 days, the rest are not quite there yet. It looks and smells fantastic, can't wait for the main haul (I am hoping in about a week). Not sure what the extra-long season will do for it, if it has harmed or somehow improved it, but initial smoke tests are fantastic and I am very anxious to give it a proper cure. Hopefully I can keep it around that long...

and yet the back side of the bud was way more lime green than purple:

I've been stealing knowledge from this site for several years now and figured it was about time I showed my thanks. Just a little info about the grow it was done in an outdoor hempy with 3part GH with some bagseed. I had numerous problems and newbie mistakes (spider mites, too much N flowering, bud rot, hermie, root rot) but still managed to get 2 ounces from my poor plant. This wouldn't have been possible without the inspiration and information I have received from this site and the sites before it. Hopefully I can inspire a few myself.

I saw this same exact mutation awhile ago from another member (but i can't remember who..) and saved the image on my computer because I thought it was really cool.

that was before the plant started doing this... I don't know how i didn't even notice it until now.. I'm a bit freaked out... I mean i saved a freakin picture of this, and now it's here in real life. Plus the plant trips off my "poison-dar".. it looks deadly to me with the fangs (like the leaves are tarantulas or something)

the last pic is a pretty purple mutant 10 bladed leaf :p

Just wanted to share my first grow with you. Its a bag seed that started outdoors, at my friends house. It was getting to big for his front yard in a busy neighborhood, so I took it off his hands ,cared for her, and brought her up to where she is now. The first pic there is the Momma, and the flower is the first clone I took from her. I had topped her about a month ago, and that's why I have a shrub, instead of a tree. I went to HD and bought 2 of the tomato rings and cut them in half so I could have 4 to use in my planters. What I did was used some fish line, and twist ties and made a very non invasive tie down system that held all of mommas branches down. Slowly over the past few months she has grown exponentially, just not vertically. I have new clones available, about 10 at a pop, every couple weeks. Highly recommend having a Momma thats been topped, and tomato ringed. Just my :2cents:. I look forward to hearing any recomendations that you feel like posting. I'm currently experimenting with Hydro, but not liking it so much right now. Could maybe use a few pointers.

grown in 1 gallon coco bags, 3x3 flood and drain tray with a 40 gallon rez, GH nutes.

i like how this strain grows - very easy to grow, in fact. She's not picky about her nutes and grows huge rock hard calyxes (pea size and a little bigger). In fact, when you break up a dried nug to roll a joint, the big calyxes break off individually and make it hard to roll a joint if you don't have a grinder.

her smoke is heavy and giggly, yet nice and creative.

She spent the majority of the summer outside in what I've been calling 'filtered' sunlight, and grew slowly the entire time because of it.

This was her almost 3 weeks after she showed her first signs of flower...I wasn't expecting much at that point :lol:


Less than a month ago now I started building a new grow cab, with the emphasis on started :lol: I got just enough done so I could bring my one plant inside, into direct light ;) and that's where she's been ever since.

Her first day in her new home...2 1/2 weeks later! Notice there isn't much growth for 2 1/2 weeks.


And then things started to pick up better than I had expected :D Nine days later she was actually growing :woohoo:


And another eight days




This is when I started thinking I might actually end up with something, from a plant that was nearly dead when I got it. It's been in the grow cab for about three weeks at this point, and has surpassed my expectations by far :D She has been flowering under only 96w of HO T5s for the past three weeks, and packed on more weight than I thought she ever would...like I say Not Bad For 96 Watts!


I left the last two picture (from today) as attachments, I forgot I was taking 'large' pictures :shrug: The colour looks weird in one of them for some reason too :shrug:

The plant was almost all red three weeks ago, now it's almost all white again :shrug:

Pic 1 was taken October 2nd. (It's the same (crown) bud in every picture)
Pic 2 was taken on the 11th. It's not that clear but you can see more white pistils that you can in the first pic.

Pic 3 was taken on the 17th.
Pic 4 was taken on the 23rd, today.
