![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Poppies come in all sorts of varieties...some are perrenials (come back every year) some are annuals (such as papever somniforum) the one you have spoken of is papaver somniforum---opiaum actually is an annual--pods make tons of seeds and bakers use em for bread and bagels and the like--neat its photoperios is actually the opposite of cannabis...18/6 is blooming period and 12/12is vegatative state many plants can develop hermaphrodites (those that have "gender" on different plants) Some are naturally hermaphrodite and self pollenate. Some have both flowers (male and female) but cannot really self pollenate and still rely on insects such as bees and flies to pollenate, develop seeds and propagate. Gender is not gene specific to plants, and can be influences heavilly during late vegatative state by hormones, light, nutrients and stress there that's my ![]()
