Im working on a grow box currently. Im not in a good place to grow anything illegal right now (too many parties here, peple in & out, ect). I am want to try out my box, especially the carbon filter, and also practice growing just because Im not much of a gardener. Can anyone recommend plant that acts similarly (light schedule, ect) and possibly has a potent smell to test the carbon filter?

![]() ![]() | Dont know abt the smell but if you wanna try out some plants similar to thee ol' Ganja you should try pepper plants or even tomato plants. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | can i just congratulate you on thinking safety first. you actually assessed the situation and decided that you should wait with your grow until youre in a safer position. not many people do that you will be an excellent grower when the time comes. yeah im stoned.... so what!!!! ![]()

Poinsettias will even give you practice at fighting whiteflies. As far as odor control try spraying some room deodorizer into your box and see if you can smell it through the scrubber. The can of spray is not as messy as dog poop. ![]()

![]() | Try catnip Catnip has very similar growth and flowering characteristics, and is a lot of fun to give to cats. As far as odor, there isn't much out there as potent as mj. Try pitcher plants, or jerusalem lillies. those two tend to smell like rotten meat, and can be found with increasing ease at high end garden shops

| I grow tomatoes indoors. almost same schedule as mj cept tomatoes dont like 24 hours of light. If I could do it over I wouldnt let anyone know I want to grow anything at all.I dont even smoke or grow mj currently but if someone sees the grow equip they always mention it. Indoor grow with carbon filter, grow box tends to make people think of mj. if too many people see it they will always think your planning a mj grow especially if you smoke weed with them. I would stop the partying there of find a different grow spot. just my not many people plan indoor grows in the spring/summer months cept mj growers | ||

Unlike , tomatoes do not require short days and long nights to flower and produce fruit, and produce better with longer days. Compared to , tomatoes are nute hogs and require a lot of fertilizer.
