![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey doc...@ first, I thought the plant in the pic w/your poochie was a "corn plant", but with closer examination, I believe it's a yucca. I also, along with some of your other plants, think they are a bit root bound and might be in need of a transplant. Most of our houseplants go outside during the summer months, but, a check of the local forcast said that we might be getting our first hard frost next week. Needless to say, the plants need to start gettng ready to come inside for the winter months. That said, it is the time of year that I examine and "re-pot" into larger or different containers [which will be my job on Saturday]. Love the pics of your cacti! I visited a cacti farm in Tucson about 15 years ago, and brought back some small plants, which have now grown into big plants! Funny thing, though...as hot and dry as it was this summer, I hardly got any flowers [but did get some damn sharp needles...ouch!!...] Nelson

I'm pretty sure you're right about that being a corn plant. The leaves on the yucca are a bit different. The next one down is a philodendron, not sure the specific variety. I used to have one of those. Makes me miss all my plants I had to give away. | ||

Ficus-Had this 25 years, lost her sister last year ![]() Jade-This is a cutting off one that we got for a wedding present 22 years ago, the original plant was in a pot I would guess was 25 or 30 gallons, it was better than 3' tall, broke under it's own weight, wish I had a picture of it. ![]()
