That tomato looks cold... And hungry... Do you use EC or PPM? EC measurements , temp details, and the name of the Variety would help GREATLY!!! The purpling of the stems is a buildup of Anthocyanins, likely due to either improper temp management ( causing buildup of sugar isntead of a balanced usage ) or due to Phosphorous deficiency. Pepper looks alright, chuggin along as peppers do. Keep in mind that Tomatoes will rarely abort fruit but Peppers will drop flowers like crazy if you step "out of bounds"

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for the advice. Honestly I have no idea on the PPM or EC. I am following the same thing for my MJ hempy buckets. I am feeding them Dyno-Gro (or something like that) according to their directions. It ends up being 1 teaspoon per gallon of water. The tomato looks as it did when I got it. It was sitting in a second floor bedroom on the floor with no window covering. Right now the temps are around 70 all day. Not ideal temps but it is the best that I can do without bringing attention to myself with my electrical usage.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is so cool, I came here to learn about mj, and I get to learn more about my peppers and tomatos too. Nothing quite as nice as bonus knowledge.

70 is a little low. Would do you better to raise the temp. Dont get a heather tho, just get more lighting ![]() Most people have the opposite problem, insufficient ventilation. Get a EC/PH combo meter ( probably cost you 100-150$USD for an entry-level one ) and get some info ESPECIALLY in hempy/hydro.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a very nice EC/PPM meter. It is a Bluelab Truncheon. I have 276 watts of T5 florors. I can get more light but I can't really get it on the plants. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It looks like I have a lot of little peppers growing already; is this possible? I'll try to get a picture up in the next day or two. The plant is only 8" high (give or take 3 inches)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Pics! I'm planning on starting some peppers/tomatoes hempy-style also, and I'd love to see some pics of your setup and buckets.

![]() ![]() ![]() | About a month ago i move my tom and pepper plants indoors as there was still fruit on them. I used a 4ft 8 tube fl with 4 each 6500k and 2700k bulbs. They were still producing last week. Yesterday I picked the last 6 peppers even though they were still growing, but the plant was sickly looking.Oh, I had them at 12/12 I also have oregano and chocolate mint growing..same lights and times and they are doing GREAT!!! Although one of our cats likes to sleep in the oregano must be an Italian cat. If anyone is interested I have good source for CFL lights..I'm using them and they work pisser. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well here are the long overdue pictures. I only have two pepper plants left and one is very very small because, well, it just is. This is the one that has peppers forming (Sexy Sadie) and I put shim in 12/12 today and started shim on bloom nutes (remember, I'm treating them 100% like MJ). I had three peppers the same size as this largest one but I knocked them off when I was trying to take macro shots of them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Does anybody know, if I get buy some hot peppers at the supermarket and plant the seeds, will they sprout? Are the seeds viable? If so do I need to dry them first? I want to get into hempy hot peppers ASAP. I will be cloning Sexy Sadie soon (I think tomorrow). I found a source for pepper cloning that directed you to sources for MJ cloning Believe it or not but the site that I saw linked to most often was Overgrow.com. http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/t2 to be exact.
