This greenhouse is unique in that the grow plugs are designed to float on the water. This is supposed to force the roots to grow down instead of out.
How many heads ( growing tips/apical meristems ) have you left on the Pepper? Many first-time pepper growers leave all the heads on, are amazed at how many fruits set, and then disappointed when the plant collapses under fruit load.

Oh I am nowhere near a first-time pepper grower. I just had to put a 4 year old pepper plant to rest this fall; I left it out a bit too long.

I have three right now but at least one will be coming off in the next few days and will be cloned. I still have quite a while until the peppers are large enough to put any strain on the plant.

No apologies needed; I took no offense by your post. I will get pictures up once I get around to it. I find taking and posting pictures to be a big pain in the ass.

I am going away on business in a few days but I will post pictures before I leave. Sexy Sadie is living up to her name; she is getting sexy. Today, between 1pm and 8pm, the first blossom opened and there are two or three just a day or two behind.

I also planted six “early jalapeño” seeds. These peppers are supposed to be ready in 65 days. In a few weeks I will plant some habanera and some “normal” jalapenos. I wish thought I had purchased banana peppers but I forgot. I also got a greenhouse thing meant for clones and seedlings.

It uses special bio-sponges that are quite tall and they taper almost to a point. They rest in a block of styrofoam (18 of them) and the whole thing floats on water. All you do is keep ¼-1/2” of water in the base and the roots are supposed to grow down instead of out (because it is floating so the water only comes from the bottom) so it makes for a faster transplant. It also has two vents and it traps the humidity like nothing else I have ever seen.

I took 6 cuttings from a Masterkush mom and placed them in there. Four other WW cuttings have are rooting using my typical rooting method. We will see what wins out.

I must recommend, stuff a homegrown pepper with cooked mashed potatoes ( made with cannabutter of course ) , bake it till just starting to blacken, and cut in half down the middle and consume. *Drools*

I've tried that (and other variations of stuffed peppers) but I don't like the taste of a baked pepper, unless it is a banana pepper stuffed with lamb, cheese, and some type of a hot pepper.

That's real nice. Pretty

That's the pepper plant right?! I've never seen either pepper plants in person, so I don't know exactly what they look like.
