The legal grow...
permalink

This is a reserved spot for my current and future legal grows. Now that I won't be growing MJ I will have more time to take pictures and grow more vegetables. I plan on knocking down the wall that is dividing rooms and turning it into one large indoor garden.

This garden would be about 20X8 and would have 2 600W HPS lights, two 6X23W T5 rigs, and several carefully place LED lights for good measure. If I like the results I may add another HPS. Who needs to worry about the electric bill if you aren't doing anything illegal!

I want to go hydro (flood table) but there isn't an actual drain in here. There is a drain but it goes nowhere; I could overflow it by emptying half of my bladder. Any ideas would be great.

Here is my wish list:
  • Strawberries
  • Lettuce
  • Spinach
  • Peppers of assorted types
  • Radish

I am thinking of going with one flood table, or a series of bubble buckets, and a few raised beds. This would allow me to grow root vegetables in the soil and tinker with hydro.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Welcome one and all. Pull up a chair and take a hit off this eggplant Once I get all of the leaves cleaned up I will take, and post, pictures. Tomorrow I hope to get it all cleaned out. I will be making 9 deposits in 3 dumpsters tonight (in an hour) and that will leave me with two growing plants (they will be harvested in two week). This will take me from 33, in various stages. I currently have three jalapeño plants in 18 ounce hempy cups but I will be planting some more and also some bell peppers. I also plan on going seed shopping tomorrow.

Has anybody here grown strawberries indoors? Here is a link that I found: Strawberries

skierguy--I've grown strawberries, lettuce and peppers indoors before with ebb and flow systems with great success. Hope those raised beds are for the radishes, wonder how you could do those in hydro I guess. Wouldn't mind seeing that really.

Happy Growing

I like the idea of an NFT setup but has anybody done one here? I couldn't find any film unless I wanted to buy it form the UK. I found several external links but I was hoping that somebody here grew that way.

Anybody?

Alley, I would use the raised beds for the radishes and maybe a pepper plant or two.
