LOL, I can see one of my ferrets having a fight with a squirrel. He's always going at it with one of my cats - except only in play with her. They're so cute together.

I don't know if the ferret scent works or not yet. It rained so much after the post, it didn't make sense to even try until it dried up. Then, it got super hot and the squirrels seemed to stay away. They're probably in the woods where it is cooler. Since they haven't been causing trouble since their last forage, I haven't tried the ferrets yet. However, the moment those squirrels start moving in on my plants again, out come the ferrets.

the squirrels at my place are tame =] we give them a corn feeder of their own, and they are more than welcome anywhere on our property. They are becomming less timid as every week passes.

I also have ferrets. Cait, Nu, and Bandersnatch(which recently has passed). They were all named after fictional charaters from Squaresoft's endlesslessly imaginitive minds.

anyhow, heres one of our local squirrels...just taking it easy:

Are you sure it's only corn you're feeding them? That looks like one very chilled out squirrel...
