I recently noticed a dead spider floating in the water where i'm rooting this willow cutting. Now, two days later there seems to be an un breakable protein sack that's intrapped the spider, connecting to the cutting by a thing strand. I pulled it around dangled it around recklessly as the cuttings rather large, and it seemed to be at least as sturdy as a spider web, ironically. Probably even more so. Does anyone know of this happening or what's happening? If i had to guess crazily, i'd say the cutting is leeching protiens off the decaying spider, or it's an algae feeding off both the spider and rooting cutting. It's mysterious. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Willow is not a carnivorous plant, i would say its the last of the spiders web, he dropped down to get a drink, with spider web safely attaching him from behind, and got poisoned from the nutes while drinking,,, i had it happen to me before, just with a different insect... ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thats the bacteria in the water doing the sack, and will eventually lead to algae around the spider. and the most strongest fabric in the world is made from spider web(ultra bullet proof), they retain strength threw the years, collecting massive amounts of dust and such in corners of ceilings around the world, im sure there water proof for a while as well ![]()
