I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know of a source that sells Brazilian spinach, Alternanthera sissoo in the mainland U.S. ? Alternate names, Brazilian lettuce, Sissoo spinach or lettuce. From what I read, apparently it rarely sets seeds, and is normally sold as plants. I've been Googling the various names and have come up w/ sources in Australia which doesn't help, and apparently there's at least one restaurant in the Florida Keys that serves it. Anyone in south Florida that's ever seen it? I'm trying to collect as many perennial vegetables as possible. TIA

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ECHO does have brazilian spinach, but unfortunately, they don't ship plants. They're about 8 hours away from me in Fort Meyers FL. Anyone in the Fort Meyers area that would be willing to take a drive? I'd be willing to pay expenses and a premium to get a plant or two.
