Nataliano Brocolli
permalink

You won't see this stuff in your local produce section.
It's a very unusual and interesting variety.

Looks to me like a green armadillo!

This Romanesco broccoli, Natalino is very similar to Minaret but is a larger plant that matures later. The chartreuse-coloured, pointed buds spiral around 10-13cm (4-5") heads. Natalino is best planted to mature in September to October. Cut promptly while it is still pale-green. Makes a wonderful additon to a vegetable dip tray.
Matures in 90 days. (open pollinated seeds)

Ya I considered that as an after thought. Thanks for the info man. I was wondering
if it was common or not in exotic countries. It certainly isn't in Canada.

Now you can go back and apologize to him ahahah.

Thats what they pay him the big bucks for .

Thumbs up Natalino Brocolli

It's showing some noticeable development here since the other day. Put it under the overhang to take it out of the rain. No one wants a moldy Broccoli .

Don't think shes too far off of harvesting.

My watermelon are doing absolutely awful!

I dont doubt it might have somthing to do with local.

Im not really sure the northeast is the optimum climate for growing melons of any kind really.

Ill see what happens but im just now getting flowers that are dropping off, so im inclined to think that the watermelon may be a lost cause for me.

Here are a couple more shots of different tomato varieties. As well as
top shots of the containers. Some of these are
so overgrown they make it hard to see the containers.

I just slapped everything together unlabeled so I'm just seeing which
varieties are which now. No two are alike it's not hard to tell in the end.

Ukranian Pear

Rutgers

Russian

Container #1

You can see there's one bean plant slapped inhere and there on a couple mostly for
nitrogen fixing qualities more than for food. I only enjoy eating the sugar peas.

Container #2 w/ Natalino Broccoli

Container #3

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

My tomatos are taking a dive! I dont think its poor care with the melons now...

Ive got blight in almost all of my tomatos.

Ive been told this spreads from plant to plant if you dont cut and burn them to dispose of the fungus that does it.

Im attributing it to a super wet season...but either way it deffinately sucks!
