I considered getting some of those in seed this spring but ended up not doing it.

Figure Opium has got to be an effective pain managment method.

Apparently there are a few different varieties of opium poppy. (which i wasnt aware of till i looked it up)

Any idea what the one youve got there is?

Yes Treadwell. There are a few different types of Opium Poppy ( papaver somniferum )

This particular variety is called Tazmanian Giganthemum as mentioned previously.

A couple more opened up this morning.

If you want to grow it for medicine. Persian White I hear is the best medcinal
variety. Doesn't yield as much as giganthemums but is more potent. You'll need
to grow a field man.

I may or may not bother this coming year. However the seeds arent very expensive and arent illegal. (as it is as a seed, i dont believe)

I got plenty of room here to do it if i felt so inclined. Just not sure of the reprocusions of using opium for medicine. Even in its most natural form.

Im assuming like other opiate derivatives (I.E. heroin, morphine, ect.) its bound to have a very addictive side affect.

Maybe one year ill try it out. Just curious more than anything

I got carried away last year with some flowers. This year I converted the area you see here into a raised bed vegtable patch. Im harvesting a dozen or so large tomatoes daily along with good quantities of large zuccini squash and butternut squash. Watermelons going strong but know evidence of fruit yet. Probably a late fall finisher

Swordfish I like your style. Wish I had a place where I could grow herb in the same
garden as everything else. I'd convert my yard into a Hemp maze.

I somewhat like the extra work up in the bush. Maybe when I'm old and can't do it
anymore I'll be too lazy for Guerilla and I'll just be BC growa . Give it another 25 years!

Looks good! I love to see people growing everything together!!

Good morning,

I love getting down on my hands & knees and sometimes even just lay on my stomach to shoot some of the little tiny weeds, I mean flowers that grow either in my backyard or out in the forest. These pics are from around my home most of which I have no idea what they're called. But they are very pretty and most are too small to see from a standing position, some you have to drop to your knees to see and those are the ones I enjoy bringing into someones veiw.
Here' a few from round my house

Enjoy and have a Great day
