First of all, I can't remember who it was but someone here posted a link to wintersown.org and their SASE free tomato seeds program. ALL of my seeds (they sent 8 types!) came up. Every single one. I have way too many starts now, but I have been growing them out and will probably make a few dollars each from them at the market. Woohoo! Also, I've been using Fox Farms Ocean Forest as potting soil, mixed 50% with 1:1 perlite/vermiculite. Holy COW that stuff rocks. I have some others that were in "standard" potting mix, and the FFOF plants are very obviously superior. I had some go from 1" seedling tray to FILLING a 4" pot of FFOF with nice white roots within a week. I am sold on this stuff. Can't wait to use it for my OTHER garden ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
