I think you are better off finding something that has zero nutrients in it. Some topsoil and perlite, or plain jane potting mix and perlite.

improper products will only make your first time harder...

do you know the soils at your plant store? would ordering be possible?

most wal-mart/lowes ect... soils are great for acidic plants. not so great for pot.

tomato plants love miracle grow soil. My tomato plants were about 6 feet tall last year.
for weed, MG soil ph tends to be very unstable and your plants will show all kinds of deficiencies.

ok my mate at the hardware store said I can get a 40lb bag of top soil for under 5 bucks. That was pretty appealing. I'll probably get it tommarow or something no rush- rain the next 5 days so my seedlings are inside

For future reference, I live in one of the smallest shithole towns in theis country. We have no hydroshops, no malls, no nothing. However, ever our crappy little hardware store carries Promix BX in those big black bales. You might be surprised at what you could find in your own hardware store in the spring.

Miracle grow and Marijuana should never be in the same discussion nevermind sentence. In my mind.. i joined this forum in the hopes of expanding my own knowledge in order to avoid black market cannabis and contaminants such as MG. The initial reason I wanted to grow my own was not only to avoid the obscene price of black market cannabis but even more importantly to avoid plants grown with counter productive chemicals that are more harmful than marijuana itself. The only benefit to chemicals like MG are reaped by those strictly interested in profit and have no regard for the environment or the health of the consumers.

To me miracle grow and chemical fertilizer contradict the very reason that I personally joined these forums and from experience I would under no circumstance recommend MG
as a fertilizer for any plant. nevermind one you intend to consume or even smoke.. it is ESPECIALLY unacceptable and disgraceful for the feeding of Marijuana plants.

If you love Cannabis as much as I do.. you will take my advice and not use MG.
Its highly radioactive and in my good judgement.. unfit for plant consumption nevermind human consumption.

..Radio Active? I know the plant absorbs the man made chemicals in it but I don't think that it is radio active lol.
