Planning Indoor Garden
permalink

I want to plan my indoor winter garden now so I can give them a good start through the summer.

My Breakfast Room has windows on three walls I want it to be very colorful with blooms and colorful foilage. It will make my winter blues go away. What I have so far...

flowers.......
-Armalrylis
-Christmas Chatus
-Easter Catcus
-Crown of thorn
-Begonias

foliage...
-Red Baron Philedenron
-Purple passion
- Eurobia
-Purple moses in the cradle
-Fiscus
Can anyone think of any other plants that would flower indoors or a pretty foilage plant?

I'm still wondering what a breakfeast room is. Are you rich and need a room for each meal?

So many flowers to mention. I'm with orchids all the way.

Why not try for some flowering herbs you can use in cooking. Something which flowers and you can put in an omlette since it's in the breakfast room ...I like the young shoots of garlic chives in mine. They might be a bit large to flower indoors though.

Looking at his posts...I'm wondering if he knows this is mainly a pot garden. lol

I agree with Komet. I like plants I can use, not just look at.

I grew morning glories in sunny windows. I made a string trellis for them to climb.
