Question Tobacco

Does anyone here grow their own tobacco? Is it even legal in the U.S. to do this? ... I want to grow a tobacco plant ... nice fresh blunt wraps.

I have thought about this too, but I think I came across a cooler idea:

Peep schemes on THAT!

Seems like a mighty fine idea to me...

As a result of federal legislation in late 2005, restrictions of commercial tobacco production to quota holders are no longer in effect.

It means that there used to be Federal Gov't. control on the number of acres of tobacco production in the US. These acres were doled out to farmers and were much sought after due to tobacco's high dollar return per acre. So until 2005 it was illegal to grow tobacco at home.

I'm trying to think of a similar situation regarding cultivation of a plant in the home garden, but I can't come up with any others.

And I always wondered, growing up in the rural South, why tobacco sat in those barns drying and curing for so damn long. I remember one crop being in a barn for nearly 5 years.

Harvesting tobacco is no fun, either. And those asshole farmers never paid us kids nearly as much as they should have for such back breaking work.

Yeah, I am still bitter.

Wow-mixing tobacco with mj.

Almost seems sacrelegious.

Hehehehe, my parents are illigal tabacco dealers. My dads sister grows it out in the praries and sends us like.... 10 pounds of seperatly packed tobacco. We sell them to our family and friends for pretty cheap. Its a HELL of a lot cheaper than buying tailor-made, I tell you.

lol,I just thought Id put that in.
