has anyone have one of them growing this is a new type of plant i got from my friend at my hydro store.
so how many of you have one growing at their home and if so how big is this thing going to get they tell me it is like growing a spider plant

"I wonder as I wander...."

Wandering jew. The plant will run but you can also easily root sections of it. The runner in the picture can be clipped into a couple of sections and stuck in potting soil to root. Rooting hormone is optional.

I'm not so sure it is classed as a medicinal herb however.

Wandering jew will fill any container you put it in.All i do is break off sections when they get to long and stick in the ground and they root with no problem . They don't take extended freezes well so they should be moved indoors for winter.They have pretty pink flowers on them and make a very nice container or garden plant.

yes buzz i know its not a med. herb but when i went to my hydro store a few months back he gave me a cutting of it and now it is just starting to take off on me. and thanks for the helpful link

i leave it in the house so thats not a problem
they had them flowers on them at the shop and my wife seen it and told me to get a cutting of it because she liked it.

here is something even more funny my wife comes home with all diff. types of flowers or any type of tree and expects me to take care of them when she brings them home today she brought home a floral Gardenia now i have to take care of it

A hard frost will kill the vegetative growth but it will re-appear next spring. I have a clump planted on the southern side of a shed and it does bloom quite well with bright pink flowers as others have described. It is quite easy to root also.

since i posted in here but i got some bad news the Wandering jew took a dive it got some kind of mold on the bottom of the stem after dransplanting it into a bigger pot but that is one less plant in the house i tryed to clone it because the person who i got it from told me they are easy to clone but it did not take for some reason i guess i just have no luck cloneing anything so ive been reading long and hard on cloning
