What Should I Grow?
permalink

It's been a while since my closet had the glow of light and life coming out of it so I've decided I'm going to grow some flowers and herbs. It's too risky right now to grow MJ indoors (outdoors though that's another story that might hopefully turn into a grow joural )

I really want to grow a flower for my girlfriend from seed and give it to her when it's done. I want to grow something unique that isn't a rose. What kind of flowers would be easy to grow indoors under a 150w HPS?

Also what kind of herbs or other plants grow well indoors that could provide some fruits for my labor? I've been thinking about maybe growing some red chili peppers or something along those lines. I'd even grow some fruit if I could though.

I'm not really familiar with how other plants grow so if somebody could give me some suggestions I would appreciate it

Nasturtiums are easy to grow and they are beautiful edible flowers. They have a peppery flavor and they are great in a summer salad. They also make good cut flowers.

Chili peppers are another easy to grow plant.

Home grown tomaotes can't be beat.
The thing about Nasturtiums is they don't like to be fed. They flower best in poor soil. Give 'em anything and they grow huge beautiful leaves and few flowers.
now that I say that, what's wrong with that? if I was growing indoors, I'd want to be able to 'play in the dirt' I guess.
pointless post....
peace-

There really is no right way to grow, you have to resonate with a style and learn what you can,
tweak it to your own style and raise the bar each grow... OD '07
