Is it just me or does anyone else feel weird about doling out grow advice to 14 yr olds?

Seems odd to me to censure so strongly talk of other drugs, partly cuz of perception by the public, only to tell minors how to grow in their Ps home. I know, we all come down hard on the kids growing without their parent permission, but it seems contradictory to piss off parents by telling their teens how to grow in their home(after they have told us how pubescent they are). How long will it be before one of them gets busted and points the finger here? Prolly already happened.

My suggestion would be to make this site 18 yrs old and up only. How would we know? dosent matter. As long as were up front with the age and tell anyone who admits being younger they shouldnt be posting here, the goal of a more responsible looking site is achieved.

Personally, I dont care if kids grow. Better that than stealing dads vodka, IMO.

what about me! im only 17. I admit that, but please dont tell me not to post here. My dad is cool with me growing, and i wouldnt dare grow with out him knowing.
its true though, i feel really bad after just trying to help some kid growing in his dads closet, without his dad knowing. maybe you read it smokinrav? i really hope he finds somewhere else. but i had an idea so i posted! its up to him to use it or not.
If a person is willing to bare the consequences of his actions, then by all means do whatever. if that persons olds are gonna kill him for doing it, he should be ready to get his ass kicked. And if they arnt ready but they still grow, then i think they deserve to get busted. hell im willing to bare the consequences if the police raid our house (knock on wood).

Im actually a little bit offended, i mean i appreciate that some young people are a little uneducated and some are a bit immature, but a lot of us have something to say. Im not offended by you personaly smokin, just by the fact that there is that age limit everywhere that cuts people like me off, im cool with things like smoking and drinking, but just with everyday people...especialy on the internet. often ive found that as soon as older people that your talking with find out you are younger, their attitude towards you changes a bit. not always a lot, but still enough for us to pick up on . it really sh!ts me you know? and i would not want that to be the case here, in such a cool place where people have growing weed in common, not age or sex or race or anything else, thats the cool thing about pot smokers...most of us dont care about age/sex/race, we just like to share a joint!

once someone has id'd themselves as a minor, like in the case you have mentioned smokinrav, i try to avoid them and their posts all together when ever possible now. i too do not feel comfortable in suppling them with any valuable information. i try now only to help members that i have grown accustomed to. i don't want/need to have a finger pointed in my direction, and i feel it maybe nessessary for me to stop posting replies because of this. i am also starting to avoid new members and their posts until i see a setup pic of their grow, which lets me know that they are not a teenibopper, growing in their closet without their parents knowledge. the only thing i can recommend, is, to be a bit more selective in who you respond with. just about all my questions have been answered, so i feel that i may only post in the journals and visual images from now on. i believe i will leave it up to the mods to respond to questions from now on, and i would like to some sort of page the requires you to be of 18 or older before entering this site. nothing against you mariculturist personally, your parents are cool with it, but i'm not. but on the other hand, i don't want to hear about your plants dying either, so best of luck with your grows......

My mind is blown with the outstanding amount of members that arent even old enough to buy cigs I know that their are some members on here who's parents dont care but the ones that are growing without permission then I feel it isnt right. I'm surprised their hasent been a member caught by their parents and then them blaming it on HC. I find it best to just stay away from them. Now I wonder how many members I just pissed off....*shrug*

Sign the (non existant above mentioned) page to log in. Just dont mention your underage. Then it really is on your head. As soon as a poster reveals his/her age, we are all implicated, the site, the mods, the admin, the membersip in general.

Overgrow has a policy like the one Im talking about. If you mention your underage, the mods tell you to go away, 18 and over only. But if you dont mention it, whos to know?

I dont have any power to tell anyone to stop posting, just so you know. Under my name it says M Gardener. Thats all I am, a guy that has a lot of time to be here

Sure, these kids are walking a thin, risky line.... but who am i to deny knowledge? Why should i cover a younger persons ear to keep them from hearing what they will find out soon enough?

If these kids are going to take that risk, they will possibly get caught and possibly learn some VALUABLE lessons in the process.

I see where you are coming from, and im trying not to take this personally. I guess its up to the mods and admin in the end, but damn i would hate to be banned or anything.
But yeah, i guess i agree.... just a sign in page isnt going to hurt anyone and its for the better of the site in general.
I didnt quite get your idea at first, i thought you didnt want anyone under 18 here at all, but now i understand that its a legal matter.
I really wish there were a way to screen out all the people that wont responsibly use the information here, but i guess thats impossible.

oh and guys about the 17 thing, that was just for the sake of the argument....im really 18 . dont you guys start avoiding me now.

But i do think if someone posts here that they are growing in their parents house without them knowing about it, maybe those are the people we should be avoiding. because they are usually in such silly situations like in boxes with incandesant bulbs and stuff that are just meant to fail. i dunno,
