is there, or can there be a spell checker when posting replies? also, why doesn't "tab" work?

 | spellchecking isn't realy the responsibility of the site mate, it's up to you, try writing your posts in word then pasting into the webpage. The Tab key does work, it moves the cursor between input fields as it's supposed to. put the cursor in the subject field on a reply page and press tab, it will jump to the message field. It was designed to do that incase someone doesn't have a mouse (just like most of the shourcut keys  ) you can't realy apply word prosessing rules to a bullitin board IMO. Sanster  | ||

Thanks anyway, but it's not me, it's many other people that have a hard time. I just read a post from someone who was learning english and thought it could help them out.

| i think, for it to be any good it would have to be client side, otherwise too slow passing corrections back and forth from client to server. which isnt practical because of the huge amount of client side code to check these things. i suppose there may be some way to tie the M$ spellcheck things in with internet explorer ... but hell, sounds like a lot of work to me. when im not sure about things im writing in other languages i check em in Word first
